Cathy Fitzgerald understands the urgent key role the arts have for humanising and localising sustainability. Combining experience in research biology & contemporary art practice (with an art practice Ph.D in Visual Culture) she has considerable knowledge of international art & sustainability policy and eco-social art practice. She has also been involved in policy development for new-to-Ireland continuous cover forestry and raising awareness on the developing international law against ecocide.
