This project has de aim to fulfill the
program asked: housing and day activity
centre on the floor plan and to make a
connection between a big street with
high building with the historic centre of
the neighbourhood.
Thatʼs why instead of designing a big
building, the project is divided based on
the program which spreads throughout
the lot.
Therefore, my design repeats the urban
structure of the neighbourhood but
trying to adapt it to a place that faces a
very transcurrent street.

This project was de design for a thermal
bath at the hills of Budapest during my
Erasmus there.
Budapest is well known for its thermal
baths so I design a very special one, a
trip to the underground waters that
finishes with great views from the city.

We had to design a structure for artists
at the seafront of Barcelona. We thought
about a space where artists can hire the
spaces to create having great views of
the Mediterranean Sea. At the same
time, we kept free space so that citizens
can walk through by walk or by bike and
we provided spaces for the city like a
market.
The idea was to recreate a small town
with its streets, market, green areas, etc,
a town where creativity and art surround
the space.

DISCOVERING THE
STREET,
EL RAVAL, BCN
Raval neighbourhood is in the core of
Barcelona and itʼs known for its multi-
culturality and the density of people
and buildings that are coexisting.
For this project we need to build
housing in a site which there are
existing buildings.
My project parts from keeping the
existent building and integrating it
with the new construction. The idea of
this project is to create a mini Raval
within the site. The housing modules
are the buildings themselves so that
each flat will have 4 façades, crossed
ventilation, light and different visuals
between the buildings that make
possible the neighboursʼ interactions
from their balconies.
At the same time, the project aims to
create a vivid ground floor full of
shops and activities for the neigh-
bours.

This module is
thought to be
organised as its

The facilities are
placed on the

the vestibule so
that the rest of
the space is free
to be arranged.
Module 70sqm
This module is
thought to be

owner desires.

the vestibule so

Module 120sqm
This module is the combination
of the 40sqm and 70 sqm
modules. It is thought to be
organised or for big families or
for people who work at home.
Then one of the modules cand
be the workspace and on of
them will have a doble height.
In that way the project is built in
different heights and the
connections between buildings
are more interesting.

For this exercise we had to study
profoundly the geology and the
gradient to find the best itinerary for our
road. There are different possibilities
and all of them need to be taken into
account before deciding which will be
the final route.
We had to connect point C and Cʼ, which
represent two different towns that need
to be connected.
My aims were to design the shortest
road I could and to try to avoid a slope
over 4%.
All decisions came with a necessary
action like changing the landscape
(adding or subtracting land) or
constructing bridges or retaining walls.

HOUSING FOR THE
ELDERLY,
POBLENOU, BCN
In the core of 22@ neighbourhood, in
Barcelona there is a site where a
housing for the elderly will be
constructed. The project needs to
held a dayʼs center placed on the
ground floor and housing.
This project aims to respect its already
built surroundings and the aesthetics
of the neighbourhood. The building
grows in its height when it faces de
most concurrent street which has tall
buildings and it has two floor height
around the shortest existent construc-
tion.
The public spaces are placed on the
ground floor which create a passage,
the most logistic areas and rooms are
placed on the first floor and the
housing is placed on the tallest part of
the building.

The idea of the project is to design a
residential community with different
pieces that create an abstract shape of a
traditional house.
The project is divided in three blocs: the
Ujpest HUB, placed in the new central
Ujpest square, an innovation centre for
young generation and two residential
blocs. This is our target, to offer a place
for this young generation that wants to
come back home.
The three blocks are connected through
the green Ujpest avenue, full of shops,
resting places, parks, and green areas
and which also connects with the
marketplace. Both residential blocks
have private courtyards and public
spaces. Block A has two private
courtyards and two vertical public
gardens; block B has a big public
courtyard opened during the day and
closed at night, then it becomes private.
Finally, block C, the block next to the
metro, is the urban block which leads
you to the rest of the project through
the public space.

Klauzár ter is situated in the heart of the
VI district of Budapest, a very busy area
full of activities and movement.
Nowadays, people use the square which
means that the functions placed are
working, even though the square is
much closed to itself and it is full of
limits and bad connections. This is why
we want to keep the actual functions but
improving the accessibility and the
visual connections between the different
spaces.
The square is composed by three
platforms and each one contains
different functions, the actual ones and
some new related to the environment of
the district.

This task was really important for my
team and we learnt a lot.
This project was part of a bigger project
called: family architects, which consisted
in making liveable peopleʼs apartments
that were struggling.
We walked around El Raval, a neigh-
bourhood with many housing problems
trying to find someone who might get
us in their apartments to make a free
refurbishing plan. It was hard to find
someone who let us in but we manage
to find a building where we could study
three different cases. The team was
formed by 12 people, 3 groups of 4
people would study each case and then
we would think about a solution for the
entire building.
We talked with them, we listened to their
needs and then we design a solution
plan for them that we handed in.
It was the first time that we could really
feel what means designing for the
people.
MAKING THEIR LIFES
LIVEABLE
2014-2015
Dolors is 81 and she has always lived in her flat.
She thinks the neighbourhood has improved but
she doesnʼt like the clear division that Raval has
due to immigration.
She goes outside every day for just 2h with one
girl that takes care of her because she has
problems walking and going down the steep
staircase.
Her flat is really big but she just uses one quarter
of it. he doesnʼt want to live alone so she like the
idea of having a young student living with her.
Yolanda doesnʼt like to say where she lives
because she thinks people might think badly of
her once they know she lives on the street known
as the prostitution street. She is used to the
violence that surrounds the neighbourhood. She
arrived to Spain when she was just 3 and since
her mom died, she takes cares of his father, the
house and her pets.
She would really love to have the flat refurbished.
Azahara is a young student that has lived at Raval
for a year and a half.
She feels comfortable at her flat where she rents
a room, but mostly she spends all day outside.
Sometimes she shares de bedroom with her
boyfriend but they donʼt have a lot of space.
She doesnʼt know any of her neighbours.

SECTION A-A’REFURBISHEDSECTION A-A’TODAY
The bathroom is very small, dark and without
ventilation.
Make the livingroom an open space and get rid
of the spaces she doesn’t use to make space for
the ones she needs.
SECTION B-B’REFURBISHEDSECTION B-B’TODAY
There are many shattered small places that
are not used. A very fragmented flat.
We open the space so it gets more light and it
can be polivalent.
SECTION C-C’REFURBISHEDSECTION C-C’TODAY
Dark bedroom and with lack of ventilation. There is one room without any purpose but it
has a window that faces outside, therefore it
can be a small terrace for the bedroom.

Raval neighbourhood is in the core of
Barcelona and it is known for its multi-

and buildings that are coexisting.
For this project we need to build
housing in a site which there are
existing buildings, a parking lot and
some ground floor shops.
My project parts from repeating the
existence urban structure: housing
close to each other. The access to
each house has a different corridor or
terrace, like Walden. Therefore, terrac-
es are shared with the rest of the
neighbours.
At the same time, the project aims to
create a vivid ground floor full of
shops and activities for the neigh-
bours and offices.

The refurbishment of this factory will
bring a new artistic area in the city, with
studios for artists, a big exposition room
and public space.
The project is structured with to long
bodies that maintain the existing
structure from the old factory and in
between them a new connector has
been built to place the staircase and the
elevator.
Finally, the pavement of the public space
shows the structure of the old buildings
that were at this site.

In this exercise from University, I had to
draw the construction details of a past
project of my own (project number 6).
So that I could design and make the
necessary changes of my previous
design and make sure itʼs realistic.
I chose one of my firsts building designs
from college and I realized that from the
idea to the construction of itself you
may need to change some of the initial
aesthetics to achieve the construction
details needs.

This was one of the first urbanistic
projects that I had to do. I had to distin-
guish the different urban structures that
can be found in my town and to choose
a different way for each to be represent-
ed. In that way, I made a urban plan
where all its urban structures can be
identified easily.
So, on this page we have the plan of
Sant Just Desvern, which is a town very
close to Barcelona and on the next page
we have Vilanova i la Geltrú, a 40
minutesʼ drive from Barcelona.

Squares are essential urban spaces
within cites because they are common
places where people gather together,
communicate other public places and
they held special events.
This project is based in a town which
doesnʼt have a proper urbanistic design.
Thatʼs why this exercise aims to bring to
the citizens of the town a place to gather
and a new heart for the town.
The aim of the project is to get a great
and flat space within a very graded
geography. Different ramps may the
connexions for the different spaces
possible.
The connexion of the existence green
with the project is really important too
and it is getting more present around
the natural area that surrounds the
space.
The different designed spaces are
marked and explained on the ground
plan.

Nowadays, our big cities are crowded
with people and therefore, the
surroundings have grown very fast,
having the housing spread without an
urban action that connects these areas.
There is just the right urbanisation to
make sure citizens can access to their
houses but public areas and parks are
still needed.
Thatʼs why this project is based on one
town that has grown that fast that it
doesnʼt have any green areas, just
empty sites.
The exercise consists in designing an
avenue that gather together the citizens
that live along it.
Along this avenue, people will find
different facilities related to sports,
gardening, children, bars, walking areas,
and a bike lane.

I had to choose a square I liked from Barcelona and
I built it in 3D with Sketchup. After that, I designed
a sculpture and I place it in the middle of the
square. Then I had ti design the upper floor of the
buildings and finally I had installed the lightning.
Once the entire 3D was built I did the render, one
in daylight and the other at night.
RENDERING OF A SQUARE
OF BARCELONA
2013-1014
18
This task was one of the first urbanistic
tasks I have ever done.
We had to distinct the different urban
structures that coexist in Barcelona and
we had to study them. I learnt quite a lot
and it was a very important task because
we learnt all we have to know about
urbanism and the different calculation
you have to take into account when you
plan a new neighbourhood, for exam-
ple.
Therefore, we had to implement
everything learnt in this task on the
future tasks we were asked.
THE URBAN STRUC-
TURE OF BCN
2012-2013
19
This task was really demanding, we had
to design an entire neighbourhood
giving a specific building coefficient.
Not only did we have to make sure we
built the number of housing regarding
this coefficient but also, we had to think
of the ground floor, green areas and all
the specific facilities that a new neigh-
bourhood must have: school, sports
centre, etc.
Moreover, we had to design the
housing, having had 6 different urban
structures in this new neighbourhood it
was really demanding to design how
was the housing inside too.Neverthe-
less, we could put into practice all the
knowledge learnt throughout the years.

PINEARQ is an award-winning interna-
tional company, specialized in the devel-
opment of complex facilities for the
health sciences, with presence and
projects in more than 15 countries in
America, Europe, Africa and Asia.
Pinearq projects are typified by being
centred on the creation of humanised
high technology spaces. This practice
has been the fruit of continued research
into new methods and involvement in
various teaching programs.
I built the 3d modelling of a hospital in
Arabia Saudi with 6 more people with
Sketchup. Also, I work on plan floors
making them more attractive for
architectonic contests.

During my Erasmus I discovered pottery
and since then I kept learning and
practising every day. I got obsessed,
with the materials, with the thousands of
techniques you can use and researching
glazes.
I enrolled a contemporary ceramics
bachelor and I bought everything
needed to have a ceramic studio: kiln,
potter wheel and raw materials to make
glazes.
I can say I truly discovered my passion.

  • 5. 01 This project has de aim to fulfill the program asked: housing and day activity centre on the floor plan and to make a connection between a big street with high building with the historic centre of the neighbourhood. Thatʼs why instead of designing a big building, the project is divided based on the program which spreads throughout the lot. Therefore, my design repeats the urban structure of the neighbourhood but trying to adapt it to a place that faces a very transcurrent street. FIXING THE CORNER, BARCELONA 2016-2017

  • 13. 03 We had to design a structure for artists at the seafront of Barcelona. We thought about a space where artists can hire the spaces to create having great views of the Mediterranean Sea. At the same time, we kept free space so that citizens can walk through by walk or by bike and we provided spaces for the city like a market. The idea was to recreate a small town with its streets, market, green areas, etc, a town where creativity and art surround the space. AN ART SPACE AT BARCELONAʼS SEA- FRONT 2016-2017

  • 18. 04 DISCOVERING THE STREET, EL RAVAL, BCN Raval neighbourhood is in the core of Barcelona and itʼs known for its multi- culturality and the density of people and buildings that are coexisting. For this project we need to build housing in a site which there are existing buildings. My project parts from keeping the existent building and integrating it with the new construction. The idea of this project is to create a mini Raval within the site. The housing modules are the buildings themselves so that each flat will have 4 façades, crossed ventilation, light and different visuals between the buildings that make possible the neighboursʼ interactions from their balconies. At the same time, the project aims to create a vivid ground floor full of shops and activities for the neigh- bours. 2014-2015 EXISTENT BUILDING COMBINATION OF THE THREE MODULES HOLE + LIGHT + VENTILATION

  • 20. Module 40sqm This module is thought to be organised as its owner desires. The facilities are placed on the façade next to the vestibule so that the rest of the space is free to be arranged. Module 70sqm This module is thought to be organised as its owner desires. The facilities are placed on the façade next to the vestibule so that the rest of the space is free to be arranged. Module 120sqm This module is the combination of the 40sqm and 70 sqm modules. It is thought to be organised or for big families or for people who work at home. Then one of the modules cand be the workspace and on of them will have a doble height. In that way the project is built in different heights and the connections between buildings are more interesting.

  • 24. 05 For this exercise we had to study profoundly the geology and the gradient to find the best itinerary for our road. There are different possibilities and all of them need to be taken into account before deciding which will be the final route. We had to connect point C and Cʼ, which represent two different towns that need to be connected. My aims were to design the shortest road I could and to try to avoid a slope over 4%. All decisions came with a necessary action like changing the landscape (adding or subtracting land) or constructing bridges or retaining walls. HOTEL BUDAPEST 2015-2016

  • 26. 06 HOUSING FOR THE ELDERLY, POBLENOU, BCN In the core of 22@ neighbourhood, in Barcelona there is a site where a housing for the elderly will be constructed. The project needs to held a dayʼs center placed on the ground floor and housing. This project aims to respect its already built surroundings and the aesthetics of the neighbourhood. The building grows in its height when it faces de most concurrent street which has tall buildings and it has two floor height around the shortest existent construc- tion. The public spaces are placed on the ground floor which create a passage, the most logistic areas and rooms are placed on the first floor and the housing is placed on the tallest part of the building. • 29. 07 The idea of the project is to design a residential community with different pieces that create an abstract shape of a traditional house. The project is divided in three blocs: the Ujpest HUB, placed in the new central Ujpest square, an innovation centre for young generation and two residential blocs. This is our target, to offer a place for this young generation that wants to come back home. The three blocks are connected through the green Ujpest avenue, full of shops, resting places, parks, and green areas and which also connects with the marketplace. Both residential blocks have private courtyards and public spaces. Block A has two private courtyards and two vertical public gardens; block B has a big public courtyard opened during the day and closed at night, then it becomes private. Finally, block C, the block next to the metro, is the urban block which leads you to the rest of the project through the public space. COME BACK HOME FIND YOUR HOME IN OUR HOME 2015-2016

Nowadays, people use the square which means that the functions placed are working, even though the square is much closed to itself and it is full of limits and bad connections. This is why we want to keep the actual functions but improving the accessibility and the visual connections between the different spaces. The square is composed by three platforms and each one contains different functions, the actual ones and some new related to the environment of the district. • 35. 09 This task was really important for my team and we learnt a lot. This project was part of a bigger project called: family architects, which consisted in making liveable peopleʼs apartments that were struggling. We walked around El Raval, a neigh- bourhood with many housing problems trying to find someone who might get us in their apartments to make a free refurbishing plan. It was hard to find someone who let us in but we manage to find a building where we could study three different cases. The team was formed by 12 people, 3 groups of 4 people would study each case and then we would think about a solution for the entire building. We talked with them, we listened to their needs and then we design a solution plan for them that we handed in. It was the first time that we could really feel what means designing for the people. MAKING THEIR LIFES LIVEABLE 2014-2015 Dolors is 81 and she has always lived in her flat. She thinks the neighbourhood has improved but she doesnʼt like the clear division that Raval has due to immigration. She goes outside every day for just 2h with one girl that takes care of her because she has problems walking and going down the steep staircase. Her flat is really big but she just uses one quarter of it. he doesnʼt want to live alone so she like the idea of having a young student living with her. Yolanda doesnʼt like to say where she lives because she thinks people might think badly of her once they know she lives on the street known as the prostitution street. She is used to the violence that surrounds the neighbourhood. She arrived to Spain when she was just 3 and since her mom died, she takes cares of his father, the house and her pets. She would really love to have the flat refurbished. Azahara is a young student that has lived at Raval for a year and a half. She feels comfortable at her flat where she rents a room, but mostly she spends all day outside. Sometimes she shares de bedroom with her boyfriend but they donʼt have a lot of space. She doesnʼt know any of her neighbours.

Make the livingroom an open space and get rid of the spaces she doesn’t use to make space for the ones she needs. SECTION B-B’REFURBISHEDSECTION B-B’TODAY There are many shattered small places that are not used. A very fragmented flat. We open the space so it gets more light and it can be polivalent. SECTION C-C’REFURBISHEDSECTION C-C’TODAY Dark bedroom and with lack of ventilation. There is one room without any purpose but it has a window that faces outside, therefore it can be a small terrace for the bedroom.
  • 40. 10 Raval neighbourhood is in the core of Barcelona and it is known for its multi- culturality and the density of people and buildings that are coexisting. For this project we need to build housing in a site which there are existing buildings, a parking lot and some ground floor shops. My project parts from repeating the existence urban structure: housing close to each other. The access to each house has a different corridor or terrace, like Walden. Therefore, terrac- es are shared with the rest of the neighbours. At the same time, the project aims to create a vivid ground floor full of shops and activities for the neigh- bours and offices. • 46. 11 The refurbishment of this factory will bring a new artistic area in the city, with studios for artists, a big exposition room and public space. The project is structured with to long bodies that maintain the existing structure from the old factory and in between them a new connector has been built to place the staircase and the elevator. Finally, the pavement of the public space shows the structure of the old buildings that were at this site. REFURBISHING OF A FACTORY IN POBLE- NOU, BCN GROUND FLOOR PLAN 2012-2013
  • 47. 12 In this exercise from University, I had to draw the construction details of a past project of my own (project number 6). So that I could design and make the necessary changes of my previous design and make sure itʼs realistic. I chose one of my firsts building designs from college and I realized that from the idea to the construction of itself you may need to change some of the initial aesthetics to achieve the construction details needs. • 49. 13 This was one of the first urbanistic projects that I had to do. I had to distin- guish the different urban structures that can be found in my town and to choose a different way for each to be represent- ed. In that way, I made a urban plan where all its urban structures can be identified easily. So, on this page we have the plan of Sant Just Desvern, which is a town very close to Barcelona and on the next page we have Vilanova i la Geltrú, a 40 minutesʼ drive from Barcelona. URBAN STRUCTURES 2013-2014

  • 51. 14 Squares are essential urban spaces within cites because they are common places where people gather together, communicate other public places and they held special events. This project is based in a town which doesnʼt have a proper urbanistic design. Thatʼs why this exercise aims to bring to the citizens of the town a place to gather and a new heart for the town. The aim of the project is to get a great and flat space within a very graded geography. Different ramps may the connexions for the different spaces possible. The connexion of the existence green with the project is really important too and it is getting more present around the natural area that surrounds the space. The different designed spaces are marked and explained on the ground plan. • 52. 15 Nowadays, our big cities are crowded with people and therefore, the surroundings have grown very fast, having the housing spread without an urban action that connects these areas. There is just the right urbanisation to make sure citizens can access to their houses but public areas and parks are still needed. Thatʼs why this project is based on one town that has grown that fast that it doesnʼt have any green areas, just empty sites. The exercise consists in designing an avenue that gather together the citizens that live along it. Along this avenue, people will find different facilities related to sports, gardening, children, bars, walking areas, and a bike lane. • 56. 17 I had to choose a square I liked from Barcelona and I built it in 3D with Sketchup. After that, I designed a sculpture and I place it in the middle of the square. Then I had ti design the upper floor of the buildings and finally I had installed the lightning. Once the entire 3D was built I did the render, one in daylight and the other at night. RENDERING OF A SQUARE OF BARCELONA 2013-1014
  • 57. 18 This task was one of the first urbanistic tasks I have ever done. We had to distinct the different urban structures that coexist in Barcelona and we had to study them. I learnt quite a lot and it was a very important task because we learnt all we have to know about urbanism and the different calculation you have to take into account when you plan a new neighbourhood, for exam- ple. Therefore, we had to implement everything learnt in this task on the future tasks we were asked. THE URBAN STRUC- TURE OF BCN 2012-2013
  • 58.
  • 59. 19 This task was really demanding, we had to design an entire neighbourhood giving a specific building coefficient. Not only did we have to make sure we built the number of housing regarding this coefficient but also, we had to think of the ground floor, green areas and all the specific facilities that a new neigh- bourhood must have: school, sports centre, etc. Moreover, we had to design the housing, having had 6 different urban structures in this new neighbourhood it was really demanding to design how was the housing inside too.Neverthe- less, we could put into practice all the knowledge learnt throughout the years. Pinearq projects are typified by being centred on the creation of humanised high technology spaces. This practice has been the fruit of continued research into new methods and involvement in various teaching programs. I built the 3d modelling of a hospital in Arabia Saudi with 6 more people with Sketchup. Also, I work on plan floors making them more attractive for architectonic contests. I got obsessed, with the materials, with the thousands of techniques you can use and researching glazes. I enrolled a contemporary ceramics bachelor and I bought everything needed to have a ceramic studio: kiln, potter wheel and raw materials to make glazes. I can say I truly discovered my passion.
