Tools, Ablities& Search Method

Tools: They have only 1 tool the (running shoes)
Abilities: 1. Sniff can sniff very well
                  2. Scurry can hurry
Search Method: So, sniff smells which way the cheese is & Scurry runs to find it (they
use the simple try& fail method)
                                                                                         5
Tools, Ablities& Search Method

Tools: They use the same tool as the mice (the running shoes)
Abilities: Hem & Haw are alot better (they have brains)
Search Method: They use more sophisticated ways in their search depending on their brains

1. The Cheese Hunt
As different as the mice and Little people were, they shared something in common: every
morning, they each put on their jogging suits and running shoes, left their little homes, and
raced out into the Maze looking for their favourite cheese.
The mice, Sniff and Scurry, used the simple trial-and-error method of finding cheese. They ran
down one corridor, and if it proved empty, they turned and ran down another. They
remembered the corridors that held no cheese and quickly went into new areas. Sniff would
smell out the general direction of the cheese, using his great nose, and Scurry would race ahead.

Like the mice, the two Little people, Hem and Haw, also used their ability to think and learn from their past
experiences. However, they relied on theircomplex brains to develop more sophisticated methods of finding
Cheese.

                                                                                                           15

3. Cheese No More
One morning, Sniff & Scurry arrived at Cheese Station C & discovered there was no cheese.
Hem & Haw Arrived Later That Day & Found No Cheese
How Would That Affect The Maze Inhabitates?????????

                                                                                            30
4. Back On The Hunt Little Mice

They weren’t surprised. Since they had noticed the supply of cheese had
                     been getting smaller every day

They were prepared for that day & knew instinctively what to do.

They were quickly off in search of New Cheese.

                                                                           31
4. Back On The Hunt Little Mice

Sniff & Scurry went farther into the maze until they found Cheese Station N. They found what they had been
looking for: a great supply of New Cheese. It was the biggest store of cheese the mice had ever seen.

Every Day They Went To Section “ N ”

Before They Start Eating They Sniffed Around The Section To Notice Any Changes

They Tied Their Shoes’ Laces And put It Around Their Necks

They Were Always Ready For Any Change Again

                                                                                                         32

Hem makes Haw dig with him in the wall to find the cheese
Haw again followed Hem although that
Irrational action caused by the lack of
digging the wall is harder than searching
               proper info.
                                                    for cheese in the maze

Finally Hem keeps pulling Haw back who decides to go out &
search for cheese because it is the only way

  • 15. 1. The Cheese Hunt As different as the mice and Little people were, they shared something in common: every morning, they each put on their jogging suits and running shoes, left their little homes, and raced out into the Maze looking for their favourite cheese. The mice, Sniff and Scurry, used the simple trial-and-error method of finding cheese. They ran down one corridor, and if it proved empty, they turned and ran down another. They remembered the corridors that held no cheese and quickly went into new areas. Sniff would smell out the general direction of the cheese, using his great nose, and Scurry would race ahead. Like the mice, the two Little people, Hem and Haw, also used their ability to think and learn from their past experiences. However, they relied on theircomplex brains to develop more sophisticated methods of finding Cheese. 15
