1. Exchange management
Manual is created for students to learn general information about Exchange
management body, structure and tools in AIESEC Mexico
by Nastia Gutsol, MC VP oGCDP in AIESEC Mexico.
2. Exchange management is the way in which exchange processes are directed on
international, national and local levels in AIESEC.

Member Committee Vice President of outgoing Global Internship Program and Member
Committee Vice president of outgoing Global Community Development Program are
responsible for creation and implementing strategy for growth and development of
corresponding programs nationally. They work directly with LC VPs giving training,
coaching and support for local operations.

Local Committee Vice President of outgoing Global Internship Program and Local
Committee Vice president of outgoing Global Community Development Program (Team
Leader Program) are responsible for adapting and downscaling national strategy to
local operations in corresponding programs. They work directly with TMs in both
exchange areas giving training, coaching and direction for Programs development.
EP manager
Exchange Participants manager (Team Member Program) is responsible for servicing of
Exchange Participant on all stages of the programs (constant communication,
coordination and support).
Matching manager
Matching manager (Team Member program) is responsible for matching process of
Exchange Participants (education on usage myaiesec.net system, internships’
selection and application process, interviews and legal aspects of matching,
international cooperation coordination and oth.).
3. Recruitment team
TLs and TMs of exchange area are responsible for coordination of Exchange
Participants Raising, Matching and Realization processes on local level. LC VP
oGIP/oGCDP is responsible for coordination of Exchange Participants recruitment
process, for which special recruitment team should be created.

Organizational Committee President is responsible for coordination of recruitment
process and delivering the numerical goal of Raised Exchange Participants.
OC MRK
Organizational Committee Marketing member is responsible for marketing
segmentation and product (Programs) promotion through corresponding channels.
OC OGX
Organizational Committee Outgoing Exchange member provides necessary information
of exchange area to OCP and OC members and supports all recruitment processes
(particularly after-interview communication and raising).
OC TM
Organizational Committee Talent Management member is responsible for coordination
of Exchange Participants selection process.
4. Exchange Processes management structure on local level
Final responsible – LC VP
Recruitment – recruitment team, where OC MRK, OC TM and OC OGX are trained by
corresponding LC VPs
Raising – OC OGX or/and EP manager (in most cases, EP manager takes a role and OC
OGX).
Matching – Matching manager or/and EP manager
Realization – EP manager
Reintegration – EP manager coordinated and supported by Talent Management area
Exchange management tools
Myaiesec.net (http://www.myaiesec.net) – platform which contains database of
internships and Exchange Participants and provides information necessary for supply
and demand management, matching and realization processes; for usage by AIESEC
member and selected Exchange Participants.
Opportunities portal (https://opportunities.aiesec.org/) – platform which contains
information about programs for interested people and provides registration
opportunity; for usage by external interested people.
National web page (http://aiesec.org.mx/) - platform which contains information about
programs details customized for specific country (Mexico) and provides registration
opportunity; for usage by external interested people in this country.
PODIO OGX management tool – platform for management of exchange processes
nationally and locally and for information storage; for usage by Outgoing Exchange area
members.
Search tools – web pages, google spreadsheets and oth. tools which contain
information of specific countries/cities about programs opportunities and additional
materials for search and/or preparation to exchange there; for usage by Exchange area
members and selected Exchange participants.
