NJENGESU LOKUBUMBA ABALINGISWA NOKUGQAMISA UBUBONA.
Ngempela uSibusiso Nyembezi unekhono elibanzi kakhulu, lokuveza abalingiswa ngendlela
yokudweba izithombe zengqondo uma ebhala izincwadi zakhe, ukuvezwa kwabalingiswa
kugqanyiswa ngendlela abaqgoka ngayo. Empilweni esiphila kuyo, siyathola ukuthi iningi
labantu siyakwazi ukulehlukanisa ngokwezinto abaziqgokayo, isibonelo, uma umuntu egqoke
umfaniswano wasenkonzweni, uyabonakala ukuthi uyakuphi futhi ngesinye isikhathi uzozwa
abantu sebememeza bethi, ‘’ungibeke name emthandazweni’’ ngaphambi kokuba umuntu asho
ukuthi uyaphi noma ubuyaphi.
Kuningi esingakubalula ngoNyembezi kodwa engizogxila kukho kumayelana nendlela
yokubunjwa kwabalingiswa esetshenziswe encwadini, ‘’Inkinsela yaseMgungundlovu.’’
Kulencwadi sithole abalingiswa abaningi, ababunjwe ngendlela eyahlukene. Kusukela
kumlingiswa omkhulu okunguNdebenkulu, kuzekugcine kumlingisa noma abalingiswa
abancane okungamadoda, kuyacaca lapha ukuthi umbhali, uyakuthanda ukulanda Kanye
nokugxila kakhulu ekwakheni isithombe sengqondo kubalingiswa. Ngezansi, ngizochaza
kabanzi ngokutomula umlingiswa ngamunye, ngimchaza ngokubumbeka kwakhe ukuze sibone
lelikhona elimangazayo likaNyembezi.
UNdebenkulu
Uma sikhuluma ngoNdebenkulu sisuke sikhuluma ngayo uqobo Inkinsela yaseMgungundlovu,
okuyisihloko sombhalo. UNdebenkulu ungumuntu obukeka sengathi unemali ngoba siyathola
ukuthi ngenkathi uThemba eqala ukumbona, wayegqoke izimpahla ezibonakalayo ukuthi
ziyabiza, futhi siyamthola ukuthi naye uNdebenkulu, uyakufakazela lokhu ngoba ngenkathi
ekhuluma noThemba besuka esiteshini semijantshi uthi, “Uyabona Mkhwanazi, njengoba
sengishilo ngabe ngize ngemoto yami. Le potimende lena uyibona nje ngayikhokhela ishumi
lopondo phansi,” waze wakuphinda ngeziNgisi lokhu egcizelela ukudula kwepotimende lakhe.
Kuvele kwabasobala ukuthi uNdebenkulu uyinsizwa efundile phela ngoba ukwazile
ukukhuluma nesiNgisi, isiNgisi ezindaweni zasemaphandleni sisadlala indima enkulu,
ikakhulukazi eNingizimu Afrika ngoba sikhulunywa abantu abamhlophe, lokhu kuchaza
ukuthi uma ungumuntu olwaziyo lolu limi lwabelungu, kubantu basemaphandleni, usuke
ufundile futhi yena uzibiza ukuthi uyisikwayi ngoba nencwadi ibifikile kuMkhwana zi
ibikucacisa lokho. Ngokufunda ngichaza ukuthi usuke ufinyelele ezigabeni eziphezulu
zemfundo ephakeme kodwa uma uqhathanisa ukusetshenziswa kolimi lwesilungu ezindaweni

zasemadolobheni kanye nasemaphandleni uzothola ukuthi iningi labantu emadolobheni,

ukuthi nanoma bekayisela kodwa bekanawo umlomo omnandi, futhi ke uyakwazi ukucabanga
ngokukhaliphile ngoba ukwazile ukukhohlisa amadoda amaningi emhlanganweni wokuqala
kanye nasemhlanganweni wesibili lapho ngisho nenkosi ibikhona izozizwela ngokwayo ukuthi
uNdebenkulu lona uze ngani.
UNdebenkulu ungumuntu ozitshelayo, othathela abanye abantu phansi, ochomayo,
ongenamahlono futhi ongenandaba nemizwa yabanye abantu. Konke okubaliwe, kugqamile
ezimeni eziningi emndlalweni. Sithola elokhu ephotha amadevu akhe ngaphambi ngokutshela
uThemba ukuthi, “akanamoto kodwa unezimoto” lokhu kutshengisa ukuthi uyathanda
ukuchoma kodwa nalokhu esuke echoma ngakho uzobe engenalo ufakazi lwalo, ngoba nalezo
zimoto akhuluma ngazo akazisebenzisi ukuze phela afinyelele endaweni yaseNyanyadu, uthi
unezimoto kodwa usebenzisa umjantshi, lokhu nje akuhlangani.
“”Sengizibonele nami Mkhwanazi ukuthi ningabantu abahluphekayo. Awusadinge
kungitshela, sengizibonele.” Lawa mazwi akhulunywe uNdebenkulu amhlabe kakhulu
uThemba enhlizweni. Lokhu kuyatshengisa ukuthi akanandaba nemizwa yabanye abantu.

uMaNtuli omwisile, okwesibili akenalo ukubiza umkaMkwanazi Nkosikazi, sengathi nguyena
umyeni wakhe, okokugcina ukuthi, akakabulisi nokubulisa kodwa sekavuka phansi
nokudumela umuntu eqala nokumbona.
Akanalo neze uzwelo uNdebenkulu ngoba uzimisele ukuthatha izinkomo zabantu ababonayo
ukuthi bazihluphekele futhi bathembele kuzo zona izinkomo, lokhu kuchaza ukuthi akanalo
uvalo, uzethembile futhi uyijwayele nento ebeyenza. Unokuzitshela okukhulu enjalo ngoba
uthi, “Mina Nkosikazi ngazana nabelungu abakhulu. Ngiyabhalelana nabo. Bathi uma

bengibhalela bangalibali mpela mpela ukuba babeke ukuthi isikwaya emva kwegama lami.”
Ukhuluma nje yilokhu ezikhomba esifubeni ngomunwe, futhi ekukhulumeni kwakhe abuye
afake nesiNgisi. Lokhu kutshengisa indlela uNdebenkulu abeyisebenzisa ukudelela abantu.

UMkhwanazi
UMkhwanazi ungubaba kaThemba kanye noThoko, umyeni kaMaNtuli. Lapha umbhali
uyasitshengisa ukuthi uMkhwanazi lo abhale ngaye, ungumuntu onjani, uyasichazela uthi,
ungumnumzane, ngoba phela sekathathile wagana. Siyavezelwa ukuthi ungubaba womuzi
ngoba unabantwana, umuntu ozwana nokusebenza, ngoba izimpahla esivezelwa zona
ezomsebenzi, uMkhwanazi bekagqoka amahhudlu, ngoba ethi yiyona amphatha kahle uma
eyolima. Ungumuntu othanda ukusebenza ngoba izandla zakhe bezingamaqokoma kukhanyela
noma ngubani ukuthi ngumuntu ojwayelene nomsebenzi. Lokhu kuyasicacisela ukuthi
ngempela uMkhwanazi ungumuntu womndeni futhi uyakwazi ukuwunakekela. Uyawuthanda
umndeni wakhe futhi ufuna okuhle kodwa emndenini wakhe, yingakho ezifake
nasenyakanyakeni ezama ukutholela umndeni wakhe okuhle.
Wayevame ukugqoka ibhulukwe kanye neyembe likakhaki, lezi zimpahla siyathola ukuthi
zivamile ukugqokwa abantu abasebenza ngamasimu kanye nezezimfuyo. Ukugqoka lezi
zimpahla kungicabangisa isizathu esithize ngokokugqoka kwabantu ezindaweni kanye

wabantwana nabantu besifazane njengomqondo wabantu abacabanga kancane, yingakho
avumelana noNdebenkulu lo waseMgungundlovu. Uyathembeka futhi uyahlonipheka
endaweni yase Nyanyadu, ngoba phela eyinsizwa enezinkomo, eganile futhi enomuzi kanye
nabantwana. Lokhu kufakazelwa ukuthi uma ebiza umhlangano wokuqala, akazange abikele
inkosi kodwa abantu bakwazile ukuthi bafike kulowo mhlangano. Emhlanganweni wesibili,
siyabona ukuthi nanoma uMkhwanazi ebize umhlangano wokuqala ngaphandle kwemvume
yenkosi, inkosi ayimhlawulisi ngalokho kodwa iyavumelana noMkhwanazi, iphinde yona
inkosi icele uMkhwanazi ukuthi akhulume asho amazwi amabili amathathu emhlanganweni,
ukuze acacise udaba okuhlangenwe ngalo namhla.
“Ubaba yena akezwa nokuzwa ngoNdebenkulu wakhe” lokhu kukhulunywa uThoko ehleka
okuchaza ukuthi uMkhwanazi uthatha kade ukuqonda injongo yomuntu okungachaza ukuthi
akakhaliphile kangako ekufundeni abantu. “Kodwa kuyangikhanyela ukuthi thina esesivulekile
amehlo sifanele singabakhohlwa labo bakithi abaseyizimpumputhe. Ziseningi kakhulu
izimpumputhe ngengqondo”. Lokhu kukhulunywa uNdebenkulu ekubhekise kuMkhwanazi
kodwa yena akakuqondi kahle, ngoba empeleni uNdebenkulu ukubhekise ngqo kuMkhwanazi.

uThemba
Umfana ogqoka amabhulukwe amade, lokhu kuyisiko labafana asebefunda emakholiji, okusho
knona ukuthi umbhali usitshengisa khona ukuthi uThemba usungumuntu osekhulakhulile futhi
ohluzekile nasengqondweni. Ngempela uThemba usehluzekile ngoba simthola endabeni ezama
ngayo yonke imizamo yakhe ukutshengisa ubaba wakhe ukuthi uNdebenkulu uyisigebengu
kodwa ubehluleka. Nanoma ethola iphepha eligqamisa kabanzi ngobugebengu obudlangile,
obumayelana nokuthathelwa izinkomo abantu abafana noNdebenkulu kodwa uyehluleka
ukushintsha ingqondo kababa wakhe. Okubalulekile ukuthi nanoma ebona ukuthi ubaba wakhe
akamthembi futhi akayithathi imibono yakhe kodwa akajiki kulokhu esuke ukukuzuza.
Ukufunda kukaThemba kumenza ukuthi ngumuntu ohlakaniphile ngoba uthe lapho eqala
ngishonokuyizwa incwadi esuka kuNdebenkulu, wayizwa ukuthi iyinsambatheka, lokhu
kufakazelwa ngalokhu akushilo ngenkathi eth, “hhayi suka Baba, ayizwakali into ekhulunywa
yilomfokazi.” UThemba utshengisa ubuhlakani bakhe ezimeni eziningi, futhi uyasiza naye
ukuze kutholakale isigebengu lesi esiguNdebenkulu.
Endabeni kuthiwa uThemba ubengumuntu onofuzo lukaNina wakhe ngolaka, kodwa ezimeni
lapho okwamele abenolaka khona simthola ezikhuza, nanoma uNdebenkulu emthukuthelisa
kanjani kodwa uyakwazi ukuzibamba. Ukuzigabisa kukaNdebenkulu bekwenza uThemba
ukuthi athukuthele ikakhulukazi ukubiza ikalishi lakubo ngenqola, phela indelelo enkulu
ukuthi ubize ikalishi ngenqola. Siyabona ukuthi uThemba uyakwazi ukubekezela, yingakho
emfikise nasekhaya. UThemba siyambona ukuthi umuntu othanda uxolo nokuthula ngoba
lapho umama wakhe esethukuthele, ukwazile ukumvimba. Kufakazelwa ngokuthi wayencenga
uNina ethi, “Kahle Mama, kahle Mphemba omuhle” uThemba lapha utshengisa ukukhula
ngesenzo nangesinqumo asithathayo ukuthi anqande umama wakhe. Ungumuntu onenhlonipho
kakhulu kubazali bakhe ngoba uyabalalela uma bemthuma eposini. Uyahamba uya esiteshini
uma ethunywa khona ukuyolanda uNdebenkulu. Lokhu kuyatshengisa ukuthi ungumuntu
ongazilawuli ekhaya lakubo, usabalalela abazali bakhe.
uMaNtuli
Umbhali umveze njengomuntu othwalayo ekhanda. Lokhu kuyasitshengisa ukuthi ungumuntu
omhloniphayo umyeni wakhe, inhlonipho siyayithola lapho eselungiselela umyeni wakhe
ukudla ngenkathi ngenkathi ebuya emasimini, umnikeza nemfanduko aphinde ayigoqe ukuze
afihle imbobo esemfadukweni. Lokhu kuyasitshengisa ukuthi uMaNtuli ungumuntu
onothando, ohloniphayo futhi onolaka, ngoba ulaka lwakhe siyalubona lapho esedumekela

uNdebenkulu, ngenkathi uNdebenkulu elokhu ebelesele edelela umndeni wakwaMkhwanazi
kanti yilapho ezothi nanoma ekhuzwa, encengwa uThemba, abe emngena umaNtuli ngoba
ekhathele ukuzwa izinto ezikhulunywa nguNdebenkulu.
Ngokwemfundo umaNtuli, ungumuntu ogcine ku Std. 4 njengoMyeni wakhe. Lokhu
kubangwa ngabazali basendulo abahlala emaphandleni, ebebakholelwa osikweni lokuthi
umuntu wesifazane akufuneki ukuthi afunde kakhulu ngoba ngeke kube kuhle kumyeni wakhe.
Ungumuntu ogqoka ngokuhloniphekile njengabo Mama bemizi. Kusasetshenziswa isitovu
sezinkuni, lokhu kutshengisa ukuthi uMaNtuli ungumuntu okhuthele, ngoba kuthiwa

Unaso isineke uMaNtuli ngoba ukwazile ukuvumela ukuthi uNdebenkulu angene kwakhe
nanoma sebethe ukuphikisana ngamagama. Uphatha kahle isivakashi, nanoma
esengasavumelani naso.
Ungumuntu oshintshashitshayo, naye ukhohliseka kalula ngoba ngenkathi eqeda ukubona

Thoko
Ungumlingiswa ongagqamanga kakhulu ngoba yena akavelanga ngezinto eziningi endabeni
kodwa, ungumtwana kaMkhwanazi noMaNtuli, usisi kaThemba. Yena ungumtwana
ohloniphayo ngoba ugqoka izinto ezide ezifika phansi ezinyaweni, lokhu kuyasitshengisa
ukuthi ungumtwana okhula eyalwa kahle ngokwenhlonipho. Inhlonipho iyona into ehamba
phambili emndenini kaMkhwanazi, ngoba nanoma naye uThoko ebona ukuthi uyise
uyaphazama kodwa akamlwisi, kodwa uzama ukusizana nobhuti wakhe ukuze bazokwazi
ukutshengisa uyise ukuthi uyaphazama ngokwethemba uNdebenkulu. Uyapheka futhi
uyathumeka uThoko ngoba uthunywe ngubaba wakhe ukuthi amlandele ukhezo lwakhe,
azange elokhu ebuza izinto eziningi, futhi nangenkathi ethunywa ukuthi alungiselele
uNdebenkulu ukudla, azange elokhu ephikisana nabazali bakhe, nanoma ebecasulwe yindlela
kaNdebenkulu azigabisa ngayo, nangendlela aziphakamisa ngayo. UThoko ungumuntu

ohlakaniphile futhi esingasho nje sithi ufuze ubhuti wakhe ngobuhlakani ngoba naye
bekavumelana naye futhi ubengayizwisisi indaba yokubona izinkomo zikayise zidliwa
umgulugudu onguNdebembili.
Abanye Abalingiswa
Laba ngabalingiswa abangagqamanga kakhulu embhalweni, esingabala uButhelezi, uShandu,
uLushozi, uMpungose, uMaShezi kanye noDiliza. Abavezwanga ngokugqoka kwabo kodwa
umaShezi umbhali umchazile ukuthi uyinkosikazi ende, enomzimba, amabele agcwele isifuba.
Uthanda ukuzithi kamfu ngebhade, okungenzeka ukuthi uzama ukucindezela isisu esikhulu.
Kodwa siyathola ukuthi nanoma umzimba wakhe umkhulu kodwa awumsindi, phezu
kwalokho unomtwana womfana egama lake ngu Mpiyakhe.
Isiphetho
Kuningi esingakusho ngamakhono uNyembezi anayo mayelana nezemibhalo kodwa leli
lokubumba abalingiswa, lijulile futhi litshengisa izinga lokucabanga eliphezulu. Lokhu
kufakazelwa wubuhlakani abufaka uma ebhala imibhalo yakhe. UNyembezi unekhono
lobumba umlingiswa umbone ngamehlo wengqondo, okuyikhono eliphakeme. Singasho nje
ukuthi abantu ababhala imibhalo basuke bakomunye umhlaba noma bekwelinye izwe
elingekho emhlabeni ngoba phela ngendlela umbhali ebhala ngayo, ukwazi ukuthinta
ingqondo, inhliziyo kanye nezitho zomzimba eziningi. Ngifundile ukuthi akusiyona into elula
ukubumba umlingiswa, kudingeka ukuthi ugxile futhi ujule.
