Future of love
Love is a very complex emotion to decode. Or is it?
Machines and their relationship with humans have been explored in great detail. However
the impact of machines on the future of love and the connection between technology and
emotions seem more pertinent now than before.
Questions on the Future of Love:
• Will technology help in predicting true love?
• Will couples go with their own judgments or will they take help from machines?
• Will they have to get their brain scanned before marriage like a blood test today?
• Will humans need humans to cater to their emotional or sexual needs or will technology overpower
those needs?
• Will there be “Robosexuals” in the future?
Relationships in the future will be different, but will that mean they will be any less
human or meaningful? This depends on whether today’s definition of being human
survives as we travel into the future.

Future of war
Technology is reshaping the way wars of the future will be fought. It is often imagined that
humanoid robots and other machines will fight alongside or in the place of human soldiers.
From the droids of Star Wars to The Terminator’s cyborg soldiers , robots play a prominent
role in our collective vision of future combat.
We are ushering a dangerous era wherein increased sophistication in biological and
nanotech weapons, drones, Cyborg insects, 3-D printing, wearable technology and virtual
reality will make “Super Soldiers” an integral part of the future.
Questions to ponder over:
• Are we at the beginning of an inevitable process, leading to the rise of “killer robots” predicted by
science fiction, or can robots actually make war less destructive?
• What comes next in the advancement of military robots?
• What will future wars be fought over?
• How will we control unmanned slaughter by an emotionless robot?

Intimate Relationships with Intelligent Robots
We’ll see a surge of robots that will play the role of true emotional
and physical partners in humans lives. The human-robot relationship
will evolve and grow more beyond the current relationship where
humans control everything.
When robot lovers grow in number, “Robosexuality” will be a future
trend and Robosexuals will grow in number.
Currently, drones have already been utilized for aerial bombing and
tracking terrorists campaigns. Military robots will play a major role in
the future of war, with millions of robots fighting in unmanned ground
systems.
Humanoid Robots or autonomous remote robots, with no fear of death,
can carry out dangerous tasks like walking on minefields, detonation of
bombs, etc., minimizing the loss of life for human soldiers.

MIDARS is a four-wheeled military robot, outfitted with many cameras, radar, and a
firearm that performs arbitrary patrols around a military base or other government
installation automatically.

Evolution into Cyborgs
Going beyond simple wearables, Bionic exoskeletons will evolve
from a technology used to assist the disabled to an elective tool to
exponentially increase the physical, mental and emotional
strength.
Technology will alter DNA , alter our emotions aiding us to do things
our bodies and minds couldn’t do before.
As a result, future Cyborgs will engage in intimate relationships and
mutually respond to emotional and physiological changes in a
unprecedented manner.
Augmented Warriors of the Future
Augmented soldiers whose bodies have been enhanced with
robotic technology will have the best of both worlds: the quick
reaction time, precision, and strength of robotic systems and the
control and superior cognitive abilities of humans.
Augmented soldier bodies could potentially be enhanced through
nanosensors that constantly monitor medical status, embedded
nanoneedles that release drugs when needed, and possibly even
nanorobots that can quickly heal wounds in the field.

proposed by Panasonic for 5000$, it is likely to impact human relationships and
intimacy. Users may choose to utilize these suits to enhance sexual relationships.
If the progress made in the field of Brain-Machine Interfacing can imitate that feeling
through implants, it could be the end of natural sex altogether.

for social interaction can make way for products like an engagement

Beyond smartphones there are machines designed that read brain

Couples may rely on a machine’s judgment to find the true love.
Brain scans may be the future of marriage for compatibility tests.
The future warfighter will be smart—well-equipped, connected and
with technology as an integral part of their gear. They will have a

communication and navigation devices, to help enhance their

(described as a “cross between an electric toothbrush and a joystick”

antenna and a video display. On the shoulder is a GPS transponder, attached

DARPA’s Land Warrior and its successor projects (Objective Force Warrior, Future

With ever-increasing volume of data around us, we will see more
focused apps and technologies that will help people get closer to
each other, be it on the basis of social-networking index or DNA
profiling or merely on the basis of likes & dislikes. The future will see
easy, quick, reliable, more accurate and long-lasting match making
because of advanced use of Big Data.
The use of sensors in military applications, the internet of things
and wearable devices bring data to military. Big Data and
Efficient Analytics could either
- Predict and thwart wars before they occur
- Wage autonomous war with the advent of data-driven drones
and robots and thus save money and troops
- Analytics can also be used for gathering intelligence and
creating real time databases.
- Infusing big data with expert knowledge creates a common
framework for easy navigation and pattern decoding.

3D printing in military can be used for manufacturing faster and

1 Love across the Carbon Split
The Transhuman revolution is in place. However the economics of this has
impacted several countries. Kevin Sandra-Higgins is 24 years old and he is
currently looking to update his bionic suit. The second version of the world’s first
commercially sold Exoskeleton “Exodus” is now available for purchase but at an
exorbitant price. The suit will allow Kevin to experience physical intimacy with
other Transhumans and Robots. It will allow him to meet other transhumans in a
virtual space through the match making site Bionic-harmony.com and interact
before deciding on a personal meeting. 3-D printing of suits is currently an
important space that is occupying global politics because it will give the poorest
an opportunity to get an Exoskeleton for themselves. The right to exoskeletons is
another subject of controversy.
There is a growing threat of the Exola virus, a mutated hybrid version of the
Ebola virus and a deadly computer trojan. This virus is a new form of warfare
that has been created to infect and kill both man and machine. Wars are
being fought almost purely through virtual means and the number of
humans on the battlefield has been significantly reduced with increased use
of robots. Transhuman soldiers are part of the large Man-Machine network
which was initiated in the year 2044.
The year is 2051.

2 Claiming One’s Right to an Exoskeletons
Love across the Carbon split is now legal and fairly common. Humans,
Robots and Intermediates have started a period of peaceful co-existence.
Ravi-X and Lola-Hari are a Human-Intermediate couple. With development
in life extension sciences, it is now common for humans to reboot the
memory of their partners. Ravi-X has chosen to do so with Lola-Hari, based
on data supplied by the “Elgool” system where love is mapped on a global
database which analyzes the behavior of humans across the world who have
chosen to be plugged in. Now, that users can download feelings and
emotions that they felt during past relationships, it has now been possible to
install them onto Intermediates and Robots.
A Robosexual revolution is brimming with increased interest in improving
physical relations across the Carbon divide. However, programming
Spontaneity is an ongoing challenge and the mathematical probabilities to
simulate spontaneity is an important space for research.
Automated war detection systems have ensured no major war breaks out
with policies in place since the Delhi Treaty of 2051. However, minor
insurgencies have become inevitable with the Neo-Luddite movement which
chooses to abandon all machinery altogether.
The year is 2061.

3 Don’t Make Love. Don’t Make War
Human Sexuality is at its lowest point, brain manipulating pulsators
have replaced the need for human interaction. Their ability to mimic
every human relationship and emotion has made users dependent on
its usage. Frustrated with the lack of progress in the world’s politics,
an increasing number of users are being voluntarily connected to the
Global Synapse Network where machines and brains of various users
are linked up and they can live in a connected space in the mind
without aging. Relationships between humans and humans are
reducing and the feeling of love can be now simulated in short bursts
based on the need of the user. Wars are fought entirely by robots and
there is almost never any need for any human intervention.
The Real-Love movement fails to get traction because of a lack of support from the
larger population who are more satisfied with the mathematical and analytical
predictions of networks like the Global Synapse Network. People can choose to leave
their emotions and experiences up for others to access, creating a new form of
entertainment through this global directory of experiences of love that anybody can
experience for themselves.
The year is 2071.
