14. Reducing Work with Twilio Studio
When Ireland locked down due to Covid-19 we urgently needed to contact our
charity base to establish if they were still open.
Each successful interaction took an average 40mins to complete.
Using Twilio Studio we designed, built, tested and deployed a simple chatbot in 4
hours which saved our support team approximately 400 hours of work

24. How we did it
Enclude + Kaptea
Kaptea used Twilio Flex to develop a customisable
call centre interface for Food Cloud.
Enclude wrote a REST API to
- Receive a request from Twilio with the caller's
number when a call comes in
- Send the relevant data to the customized Twilio
interface (contact and case details) to be viewed
and edited by FoodCloud staff member.
- Create a secure channel so that only requests
from FoodCloud's Twilio Flex will be accepted from
Salesforce

FoodCloud staff work within a single system when
the call comes in.
FoodCloud staff have the most up to date data from
their Salesforce CRM when they are talking to a
Funder, Donor or Volunteer.
FoodCloud staff can update information and cases
from Twilio directly into Salesforce. Data is stored
in one place.
