•A   performance review.

The vent
1. It’s either a vent,
2. A rant, or,
3. A disaster.
The disaster
•   Shut up.
•You don’t know this
person.
•   The issue doesn’t matter.
Assume they have
something to teach you
Detecting boredom
1. Any change in routine,
2. Ask, “Are you bored?”,
3. Actually hearing it.
Handling boredom (pt. 1)
1. Where at they going?
2. Am I getting them there?
Handling boredom (pt. 2)
1. Interesting problems.

2. Experiments.

3. Protect their work.

4. Regarding crap work.

5. Aggressively remove tactical noise.

6. Tell them what the hell is going on.
The success is... silence.
