This presentation introduces the WHY, WHAT, and HOW of the Fractal Gridding Technique, which is an invention of Dr. Rod King. Fractal Gridding and in particular, the 3x3 Fractal Grid, can be used for effectively and efficiently organizing, managing, and tracking ideas everywhere: at School, Home, Outdoors, and Work (SHOW). The goal of daily using Fractal Gridding is to rapidly become a lifelong EPIC Learner. "EPIC" is an acronym for "Exponential Productivity, Innovation, and Creativity."
Way to go lifelong EPIC Learner!
And good long in your journey.

FRACTAL GRIDDING: A Visual Technique for Managing Personal, Enterprise, and Non-Profit Growth Strategies
1. WHAT is the “Fractal Grid”?
A Fractal Grid refers to a 3x3 table like
on a tic-tac-toe board BUT with a
highlighted central screen, block, tile,
or notecard which is called a “Sun.”
The 8 screens, which surround the
“Sun,” are called “Planets.”
* FractalGridding involves radially
organizing objects on 3x3 Fractal Grid
HOW do I Simply “FractalGrid”
(Radially List) a Set of Ideas?
1) Get a blank template of a hand-
drawn/printed 3x3 Fractal Grid.
2) Write/draw, in the Sun, the
main topic, theme, or keyword.
3) Write/draw related areas in the
Planets. Validate Sun-Planet
Fitness or Logical Relationship.
FRACTAL GRIDDING:
4 FAQ
WHY should I FractalGrid rather
than Linearly List ideas?
a) FractalGridding helps get tough
(info-complex) things done 24x7
in a fun, effective, efficient, and
simpler way at School; Home;
Outdoors; Work (SHOW).
b) The Fractal Grid, which is the
world’s best E.P.I.C. Learning tool,
helps us … organize and manage
our lives … to achieve higher
quality results in less time and at
lower cost … in S.H.O.W.s
HOW does our project team get
“tough things” done 24x7?
Use CPDR Learning Cycle as follows:
C: Collect info on “tough things.”
P: Plan to eliminate key problem
while formulating goals, object-
ives, strategies, targets & tasks.
D: Do the most critical tasks.
R: Review feedback (-/+) or
trade-off of key beneficiaries;
Repeat CPDR Learning Cycle if
trade-off is undesired or
unacceptable. Otherwise, stop.

1. Form an E.P.I.C. Learning Team. Then, draw/print/use diagram of 3x3 Fractal Grid. State targeted organization & main job to get done.
2. Identify the most important stakeholders/beneficiaries/influencers (“Whom”) as well as their Core Culture (Mission/Vision/Values).
3. Go Out Of The Office (GOOTO) and interview the most important stakeholders with a view to recording their most important problems.
4. Validate problems & formulate solution-hypotheses (Plan/Strategy/Value Proposition). Then, rapidly test using a Minimum Viable Prototype.
5. Collaboratively determine whether there is fitness between the “Core culture” and “Governance Learning Cycle.” Pivot, persevere, or stop.

3. Z: ZERO Axiom
(Nothingness)
Every Fractal Grid is a single
rectangular screen (“Sun”) that
starts at Level 0 and can contain any
object at a given point in time.
I: INFINITY Axiom
(Everythingness)
Every Fractal Grid is an infinitely
zoomable 3x3 map (tic-tac-toe) with
a central Sun that is surrounded by
infinite no. of screens (“Planets”).
THE FOUR
Z.I.C.O. AXIOMS
OF
FRACTAL GRIDDING
O: ONENESS Axiom
(Singularity)
Every Fractal Grid is part of a 3x3
Fractal Grid which is an “infinite set
or universe” with or without
trade-offs.
C: CYCLICITY Axiom
(Fractality)
Every screen in a Fractal Grid can be
repeatedly and
horizontally/vertically constructed
as well as de- constructed as in a
3x3 Fractal Grid.
