This is the very competitive era of borderless business, where technology brings the easiness. Today’s business is totally dependent on communication; here technology plays a very vital role also. These very necessarily suggest us to be efficient in technology to compete in global business. With an increasing number of organizations exploiting information technology in innovative ways, many companies have been adding a Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to their executive leadership teams. Technologies are now using for both internal and external communication of firms. Technologies are using in both written and oral communication. Different technological tools are being used in today’s business communication. More and more tools are being introduced every day. In this presentation I’ve just tried to analyze about the existing technological tools, theirs impact on business communication, advantages and disadvantages of different tools and their continuous improvement and also about upcoming technologies, which may play more important roles on business communication.

As companies try to compete in the global
economy, they are always looking for better
ways to communicate and this is technology
which provides business with faster, more
efficient equipment for every aspect of
communication. There are a large variety of
technological tools for communicating, some
gives us advantages on oral communication
and some of these gives us advantages while
communicating in written form.

Different types of task relating to communication can be
performed by this device like :

• Desktop publishing.
• Planning documents.
• Researching audience and contents.
• Statistical analysis.
• Creating power-point presentations.

• A fax (short for facsimile) is a
document sent over a telephone line.
• It is playing very important role in

• Instant messaging (IM) is a collection

• Instant messaging is used widely as
informal communication tool.

common technological equipment.

• Various regions of world are totally unaware about
technological improvement.

• Governments should take initiative to make technology
cheaper for its citizens.
• Building up technological infrastructure.
• Organizing different training programs.
• Make people aware about technology and encouraging
them to using technology for communicating.
• Should be informed and prepared to adjust with newer
technology every day.
