  2. 2. Expectation from RCPA  Why it is Important ?  On what time should be done?  How should be done?  Is recording the data is necessary ?  Importance of connect ?  Informing about product promoted?
  3. 3. Importance  Helps to identify the Customer  Helps to know the Rxion habbit of Customer  His preference of quality with branded drug.
  4. 4. Time  Time plays important role it should be done during the chemist free time.  Information must be recorded each time.  Data at once may not able to collect plan each time certain data should be collected.  Don’t repeat the questions asked for the Chemist he may hesitate or ignore to give the further information.  Usual timings may be before the OPD of the Dr OR after the OPD timings.  After OPD timing you may get a chance to observe the different brands which is of his preference on his table
  5. 5. How should be done?  Have a Smile on your face.  Wish him Good Morning…/ afternoon../ Evening.  Introduce yourself with your identity with the name of the company.  Initially ask for the availability of brands with him by giving product LBL.  Ask for the non moving brands and near expiry brands so that he understands the seriousness of the business.  Then coming to for the rxions of Dr…  Followed by the compititors brands…  If he is free you can collect the details of the compititors information and their promotion methods.  Record the details each time then make a profile of your customer.
  6. 6. Importance of the connect  Connect to the chemist by the previous discussion.  Continue the collection of information through Focussed approach and define yourself with the brand selection for your customer.  Don’t forget him to say thank you and note down his name and contact number.  At certain time you may develop a rapport with him so that at necessary time you may able to talk to him thorugh over phone.
  7. 7. Information to the Chemist  After the product promotion don’t miss to meet the chemist and give him a message of your product.  Brand availability at Stockiest level:  Price / Offer / shelf life / packing / box  Write the note of information of brand with all details in the chemist book.
