They don’t want to be persecuted for
teaching that the cross of Christ alone can

1. Why we glory in the cross of Jesus.
• It speaks to us of the extent of God's love for
us.
• It tells me of the extent God will go to bless
and help me.

1. Why we glory in the cross of Jesus.
• It is on the cross that Jesus conquered the
forces of darkness that are opposed to our
walking in fellowship with God.
• It gives to me the hope and promise of
eternal life.
