With the Summer Games in full swing, NetApp has created an infographic illustrating the volume of big data that is projected to be shared and discussed across billions of devices around the summer games. The figures are staggering – for instance it’s projected that 60 gigabytes of information per second is expected to flow across British Telecom’s networks (that’s the equivalent of all of Wikipedia every 5 seconds).
