The workshop will start with a rigorous discussion of the top trends in libraries in 2020. A series of writing assignments, lectures and further conversations will follow that will enable workshop participants to create an individualized plan for submitting a peer-reviewed article to a Q1 or Q2 library publication. The workshop will provide you with practical information on writing and submitting an article to a leading LIS journal, including: • how to choose the right topic; • how to structure your article and follow editorial guidelines; and • how to minimize the chances of your manuscript being rejected.
