COVID19 CARES ACT
In 2019, 60% of cash gifts were deductible for tax purposes
for itemizers’ charitable deduction.
Now, with the COVID19 pandemic, the government says that
100% of cash/check gifts to LMWW are deductible!
.
Example: Cash/Check/Online Giving Charitable Deduction Allowance
2019 $10,000 $6,000
2020 $10,000 $10,000
6. CHARITABLE GIVING WITH
COVID19 CARES ACT
Did you know?
The 2020 Cares Act provides you the
opportunity to give “above line 31” deductions if
you do not itemize.
An individual can give up to $300, a married
couple $600, to Life Matters World Wide. This
would reduce your taxable income for 2020,
thus reducing your taxes.
