Millions of years ago during the Mesozoic Era, dinosaurs lived on Earth in many different forms. Dinosaurs were a type of prehistoric reptile that inhabited the planet for the Age of Reptiles. While scientists know dinosaurs existed in various species that lived at separate times in history, they are uncertain about the actual colors and patterns of individual dinosaurs. The classroom lesson focused on learning about characteristics of Triceratops and Brachiosaurus dinosaurs and completing a pop-up T-Rex activity. Students were also tasked with imagining a presentation as the owner of Jurassic Park to describe dinosaurs and their key attributes to visitors.
