showed the winning team’s disrespect and that they violated the
sporting spirit.
One of the players responded: “Whenever you have that mindset,

Button.
18. P. ID X. Describe the transfer
Even though transfers in sports are common, this transfer was one
of a kind, and therefore raised a lot of conspiracy theories. Many
believed that the player X involved, was secretly suspended by
the NBA, for his involvement in gambling, and that this transfer
was a part of a cover up. However, prominent people who tried to
research this theory ended up being convinced that there was no
cover up. The effect of the announcement lasted from 1993 to
1995, and was also the subject of a movie that earned 90M USD
at the box office.
19. P.X and Y share the same name,
ID them.

to the sport in which he went on to cement himself as one of the true legends of his sport.
Y is his son who ply’s his trade in a sport in the same realm as his father. He got his big break

due to something he did on air while interviewing a coach in German.
According to X it was just a joke and he was just pretending to be
German.
27. Unreal Engine
Answer these questions based on
some fictional sports/games.
(This includes derivatives of real
life sports with some added
fictional elements)
28. Q1. What ‘Game’ is being talked
about here.
Without the fictional elements this game would probably be no more of a sport
than knitting. But with the fictional elements involved this game is terrifying, it
inflicts untold damage and potential death among the people who are unlucky
enough to play this.
Players should probably think twice before rage quitting because the game takes
the phrase ‘Waiting Ages for your turn quite literally’.
There are theorists who say that the Game could be a sentient being as it seems to
have adapted itself quite well for the new generation
29. Q2. FITB. Funda.
This sport is just normal ________ but adapted for a certain
group of ‘people’. Unlike the normal sport which can pretty
much be played any time, to play this adapted version needs a
weather check and is played only during the thunderstorms.
The dimensions of the play area are also vastly increased and
although never explicitly revealed the equipment used also is
much stronger than the normal counterparts.
30. Q3. What sport?
This first featured in a 90s film and was regarded as one of the
best parts of the film.
It was one of the most dangerous sports in it’s Universe, the
sport required large swathes of land to play so deserted
‘regions’ with a lot of open area were generally preferred.
The sport had close to no regulations at all and even allowed
children to compete with adults.
Around 13 years after its first appearance the sport was
banned in its Universe.
31. Q4. Where is this sport from?
_________ _____ cricket is a sport found in X. It has a set of peculiar rules and a few of them
are as follows-
Grow at least three extra legs. You won’t need them, but it keeps the crowds amused.
Find one extremely good player. Clone him off a few times.
Put your team and the opposing team in a large field and build a high wall around them.
Players have to hit each other as hard as possible, then run far away and apologize. The
players are scored based on the quality of their apologies.
32. Q5. X and Y?
One of the more well known Fictional sports is X, which has a
perfectly good scoring system ruined only by the presence of Y.
According to a lot of fans, there is absolutely no need for Y, since it
ruins the entire game. Y renders the points scoring aspect of the game
useless and also sometimes causes impossibly long games, the longest
game of X was supposed to have gone on for 3 months.
Y also destroys X has a spectator sport

According to a lot of fans, there is absolutely no need for Y, since it
ruins the entire game. Y renders the points scoring aspect of the game

45. Q1. What ‘achievement’ is this
and who ?
A certain unwanted unofficial achievement was achieved in
the Delhi Vs Punjab IPL match yesterday.
Moises Henriques (for the Sydney sixers) and Shoaib Malik
(for Pakistan International Airlines) are the only two other
people to have achieved this record.
47. Nicolas Pooran. 2 ducks in a
single t20 match. (Regular +
Super Over)-Unofficial Pair
48. Q2. What is X? Sport in Question?
More than being just about sports, X is often looked upon as a
cultural event. A testimony to that is the manner in which the
event is broadcasted - the focus is not just sport, and there’s a
massive build up to the event as well. The typical game in the
sport in question does not have a lot of actual time in action,
and it has more than half of the broadcast being replay clips,
or clips of players “generally milling about”
51. Q3. XY?
This unusual sport - or rather game - has a bizarre name, XY,
where Y is a something that is already an established sport,
way more popular than XY. The rules of XY are quite generic,
with the exact gameplay depending on who plays it, and
where. Possible theories for the name include - comparing it
with Y since it uses more or less similar equipment, or as a
cruel joke on both the game XY, and the X - showing that it is
substandard somehow.
57. Q5. Describe what happened.
This is Lewis Hamilton, donning on a shirt that says “Arrest the
Cops who killed Breonna Taylor” during his win at Mugello in 2020.
This was investigated by the FIA, as to whether or not a driver
should be allowed to use their platform to further “political”
messages.
This is very reminiscent of something that happened 52 years ago,
in a similar event in a completely different sport. The actors
involved in that incident were not as lucky as Hamilton, who
received major backlash, and even a secondary sportsperson
involved in this was basically disowned by his nation’s regulating
body for further competitions.
60. Q6. What did X achieve?
In a certain competition in 2002, X was in a fairly comfortable
position after his heats, qualifying for further rounds with
quite a margin. He finished 3rd in the quarter finals, but was
promoted to the semi final, as one of the leaders was
penalised for obstructing the path of another skater. Having
made it that far, X’s official race strategy was to wait out
behind, and hope for similar strokes of luck, since he was
unable to match the pace of his competitors.
63. Q7. What rule? What is X?
Michael Schumacher and Ferrari enjoyed a comfortable period of dominance in
the world of F1 between the years of 2000 and 2004. While no one doubts the
dominance and pace that Schumacher had with the Ferrari, officials and fans alike
were partly convinced that it was also due to a certain rule in the game, which
allowed Ferrari to gain tactical advantage.
This rule was subsequently banned from the 2005 F1 season, and it saw cars
using a certain brand of X dominate over the other brand. Ferrari struggled to
maintain their dominance, and lost to Renault's Fernando Alonso in the Driver's
Championship.
A ban which if implemented today would essentially render one of the sport's
more interesting aspects useless
65. X - Tyres. FIA Banned* Tyre
Changes during pitstops.
66. Q8. What is this feat?
Sir Vivian Richard and Ellyse Perry are the only two cricketers
to achieve a certain feat. Given the short list of people, it's
fairly obvious that the feat is quite unique, and has been
beyond the reach of a lot of cricketers. However there have
been some others, who have achieved a similar feat, however
not as successfully. Some of them are Sir Ian Botham and CB
Fry.
68. Played in both ICC and FIFA WC
Vivian Richards played during a FIFA WC Qualifier.
Rest of the people mentioned have represented their
countries in both sports, but not in both World Cups.
69. Q9. ID X, Y, Z.
The sports X and Y are often compared to each other, even though they are played by more
or less a mutually exclusive set of teams. This comparison is possible because of the similar
systems they have for scoring, and a few other rules.
On closer inspection, this comparison makes even more sense since they have a share
history and origin. Both these games descend from a common game, which had a mixture of
these rules, and in fact this common game was formed as a split from Z, after Z formalised
the rules of the game Z led to some teams leaving in protest because important aspects of
the game would be rendered null and void, these new rules would make Z a little more literal.
The common game was brought to North America by colonialists. In fact, before both theses
sports X and Y split, their teams used to play together, negotiating on the rules before the
game started
71. X/Y - American Football/Rugby
Union
Z - Football (English football??
Soccer??)
72. Q10. What is the other condition
In football the term perfect hat trick is used when a player scores
one right-footed goal, one left-footed goal and one headed goal in a
match.
The German and Austrian variant of it is called the ‘Lupenreiner’,
which doesn’t care about how the goal is scored, but rather it cares
about when.
There are two conditions to a Lupenreiner, one of them being that all
the three goals are scored in the same half. In the score sheets
shown below Haland and Sancho fulfilled the first condition but
didn’t fulfill the second condition
76. Q11. X? Why did people buy this
jersey?
In the following image X’s jersey is shown, Nike released this
jersey to mark the fourth anniversary of a certain incident.
The jersey was sold out within a minute and is now finding its
way onto e-bay at extremely high prices.
As would be normal a lot of jersey’s were bought by people
who wanted the jersey and were fans of X, but as was
expected a lot of jersey’s were also bought by people who did
not want the jersey at all.
79. Q 12.Who is X and give funda for
the commentary.
X arrived at _______ on a loan deal in the winter transfer window of 2012(Jan 2012)
as a cover for players who were leaving for the AFCON cup.
X came on for his ‘first appearance’ against Leeds in the FA cup and managed to
score the winner.
This moment led to an iconic piece of commentary from Jon Champion
“He may be cast in bronze, but he’s still capable of producing truly golden
moments”
107. 2 Dries 2 Furious

108.
109. Q1. What infamous incident is being
talked about here?
Randy Johnson is an MLB Hall of Fame pitcher who holds the record for the
second most strikeouts of all time. In spite of all his achievements he is still most
well-known for an infamous event that took place during a baseball match in
2001.
The event whose odds were said to be astronomical, resulted in his throw being
called a ‘no pitch’ by the Umpire who used common sense and fair play to make
that decision.
The sight seen was said to be because of a reflexive action called fright moult,
which involves epidermal shedding during moments of fright.
Johnson also faced a lawsuit from a certain non-profit organization for the above
incident.
112. Q2. Name X and the record in
question.
X was an Olympian from the USA and was the most
successful athlete at the 1972 Munich Olympics, he held a
certain elite record for the next three and a half decades
until his compatriot broke it while competing in the same
sport that X set the record in.
X was also known for his iconic 70’s moustache look which
he said helped him gain a streamlined advantage over his
opponents.
114. X - Mark Spitz. Most Gold Medals
in a single Olympics
115. Q3. What is the pun and what was the
sport that he was caught cheating in?
Boris Onishchenko is a Soviet pentathlete who is best known for
his disqualification from the 1976 Summer Olympics and
subsequent lifetime ban for cheating.
He was caught cheating by bypassing the scoring circuitry of his
sport, he was bypassing the 750 grams of Force required to close
the circuit and had an illegal button that made a switch close the
circuit.
This act of cheating resulted in a very apt pun on his name.
118. Q4. ID X and his iconic car
The Rally world had experienced a recent spate of deaths and the FIA
were forced to introduce stringent restrictions to ensure safety. The
most dominant car of the era the Toyota Celica GT4 was caught
cheating its way around the restrictions and was banned for 12
months.
This ban turned out to be a blessing in disguise for the Rallying World
since it got to witness the domination of X in his ‘Rally Blue’ car with
‘gold 16 inch alloy wheels’.
X is one of the most iconic Rally racers of all time and has an entire
generation of video games to his name.
121. Q5. Give funda.
The COVID-19 is an ongoing pandemic, which had major
effect on almost every aspect of human life - including the
world of sports, with most sporting events being cancelled or
postponed. In this period, a certain genre of sports gained
widespread popularity. This genre did not involve any
sportsperson in any manner, and the events were based on a
sincere representation of real life sports. They gained even
more popularity after a certain channel featuring these sports
was both shouted out by and sponsored by John Oliver’s Last
Week Tonight.
124. Q6. ID X and Y. Give Funda
Teams X and Y met again four months after playing perhaps one of the
better cricket matches in recent times.
This match, though in a different format altogether had a plot similar to
their previous epic encounter and it left players from both team smiling
at each other, unable to believe what had just happened.
There were a lot of similarities between these two matches, and both
these teams on the day of the match as well. In both the endeavors, team
X would end up being on top both after the game, and bigger picture
wise.
126. England v New Zealand. Drew
the final T20 again. (smh)
127. Q7. Funda
A few years back, a man from Warwickshire was involved in a
rather desperate bet, although only having gambled 50
Pounds. He was massively successful, even though he bowed
out of the bid early, walking away with 72K Pounds. By doing
this, me missed out on a chance to win 178K more Pounds.
When asked for a comment, he had to regrets, stating - "It will
mean so much if we win, so there's no point in being greedy. A
holiday to Spain is a certainty followed by paying off the
mortgage with the winnings."
130. Q8. This isn’t a Biz Quiz. Give X.
The company X was established in 1987, and has since differentiated and
established itself as a very, if not the most prominent brand in its domain.
The marketing for their product was based around promoting itself through their
student brand managers in universities, where they were willing to spend insane
amounts of money just to push more of their product into people’s hands.
They also closely associated themselves with a dangerous and extreme image, which
has worked out great for them.
Apart from just being a logo associated to an event, they take a more active
approach towards them, which experts suggests leads fans to feel a deeper
connection with their products.
133. Q9. ID X and how did it cause
heartbreak in India.
When a certain event was proposed to be included in the 1948 London
Olympics it was shot down and was called a monstrous, degrading, disgusting
idea.
It wasn’t until the 2012 Olympics that it was finally included as an event.
X from Great Britain won the Gold medal that year and caused nationwide
heartbreak in India in the penultimate round of the event.
X then went on to win Gold again at the 2016 Olympic Games, and then in 2017
decided to go Professional in her sport until retiring in 2019.
136. Q10. X was further divided into 5
categories, ID what is X
X’s were a part of the modern Olympic Games from 1912 to 1948,they were a
brainchild of Pierre de Coubertin who was the father of the Modern Olympic
Games.
This Juried event was removed in 1954 because ___ were considered
professionals while contestants in the Olympics are required to be amateurs,
although in Indian Culture they would probably not be regarded as professionals.
It was also decided that the contestants should not be awarded medals or
rankings but should be appreciated by all.
139. Q11. What sport? Name the three
nations.
There have been considerable efforts to bring X into
Olympics, however two nations have remained long opposed
to the move.
Three leading teams in X don’t correspond to a national team,
which would make it harder for them to take part in X, a
problem they face with other sports as well.
X had a single game in the 1900 Olympics, and the only
written evidence of the game’s existence is a scorecard
maintained by one of the winning players.
