The company was formed on the belief that there was no robust third international
insurance brokerage firm on the Zambian market to provide international
brokerage services.
The firm has a strong view on harnessing globalization, expertise and quality of
services. Blackgold Insurance Brokers Limited is in the process of looking for an
international network to give our international clients a seamless “Zambian born”
international Insurance Brokerage Firm.

Insurance Authority [PIA] - Gathering the necessary expertise and contacts in the
insurance sector. He has experience in working and closing deals in Kenya,
Zimbabwe, South Africa, United Kingdom, USA, Netherlands, China and Denmark.
Shuko Ndhlovu FCCA, FZICA - Board Chairman
Shuko is the chairman of the board. He is a fellow of
Chartered certified Accountants [FCCA] of UK and
Zambian Institute of Chartered Accountants [FZICA].
He is also a Chartered Internal Auditor[MIIA] of UK and
Ireland. He is trained as a Mining Engineer - at CBU and
is also a Registered Practicing Estate Agent [MZIEA] in
Zambia. He is a member of the Institute of Directors of
Zambia [IoD]. He sits on various local and international
boards such as Seeff Properties [www.seeff.com],
African Grey, HLB Reliance [www.hlbi.com] etc.

7. He is responsible for the strategic drive and day to day
management of the company. He is the immediate past
Chief Executive Officer [CEO] for Liberty Insurance
Brokers,perviously worked as Director of Administration
and Development at ECZ and prior Assistant Manager in
charge of Claims Assessment, Indemnity cover, and loss
assessments at Zambia State Insurance Coporation Limited [ZISC], Zambias Largest
quasi - Government General and Life insurance company.
He was instrumental in the turnabout of business of Liberty Insurance Brokers. He is
currently the secretary of the Insurance Brokers Associations of Zambia; brings to the
team necessary industry contacts. He is a devoted religious and family man.
Cosmas Kanguya BBA, DiS - Chief Executive Officer
Cosmas is the Chief Executive officer [CEO] of the
company. He brings to the team over 20 years great
wealth of insurance sector experience. Cosmas Holds
a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration from the
University of South Africa [UNiSa] and Diploma in
Insurance Studies.
He began his finance career with Zambia State Insurance
Corporation Limited (ZISC), Zambia's largest quasi
Government General and Life insurance company. He
was instrumental in the turnabout of insurance business
for Liberty Insurance Brokers - as private financial
advisor. Previously Kabwe worked in South Africa for over
5 years as Management Accountant, amasing key
managerial international experience.
He has been instrumental in setting up inner financial controls for a number of start
up General Insurance Companies as a private consultant.
He brings to the team prudent insurance financial management and accounting
knowledge.
Kabwe Nkonga - Director of Finance & Administration
Kabwe is the Director Admin and Finance of the
company. He brings to the team over 20 years great
wealth of insurance sector experience. He holds a
Diploma in Accounts and is a member of ZICA. Kabwe is
in addition a trained and qualified insurance Agent.

8. Elvira was instrumental in setting up a Green Field
Business, Seeff Zambia, which now is one of the leading
property firms in Zambia. She brings to the team over
9 years experience in the property development and
estate agency - including mortgage insurance
experience. She was perviously with Chas Everrit a top
property company. She further holds a Diploma in IT.

Elvira Brentnall is our non Executive Director of the Board.
Elvira is a qualified Pracitising Estate Agent [MZIEA] and
managing Consultant/Director for Seeff Properties
Zambia - one of Southern Africas premier property
companies.
She is a member of Zambia Institute of Human Resource
management with a valid practicing license. Lusungu
further holds a Diploma in Finance and sits as Director - in
Seeff properties [www.seeff.com]. HLB Reliance
[www.hlbi.com] as well as BlackGold Ventures. Lusungu
has been part of the team that managed Seeff Properties
Zambia as a Green Field Business and has been

Lusungu is our Director in charge of Human Capital; she
brings to our team valuable HR experience necessary
to the growth of our company.
He has been in the real estate business for over 15 years
now amassing the stamina of selling and closing property
deals. He has been head for commercial agency for over
10 years - contributing to the board valued managerial and
marketing skills. He qualified from University of South Africa
[UNISA] in Estate Agency Management and attended
further training in Legal Studies at Homenet Academy in
Durban RSA.
Bryan Mushota Tembo MZIEA - Non Executive
Director
Bryan is the Director for Property Services at Seef and a
well known Real Estate Broker on the Zambian market
scene. He was the Head of Commercial Agency at
Homenet Zambia.
Bryan is an Associate of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) with the
University of Reading UK. He currently serves on the governing council of the Zambia
Institute of Estate Agents and is a practicing full member.
