2. FCE: First Certificate in English
o It’s an upper-intermediate English
language test for both written and
spoken English administered by
Cambridge ESOL.
o FCE is at level B2 of the common
European Framework of Reference for
Languages.
o FCE shows that you can:
a) Communicate effectively face to face
b) Expressing opinions and presenting
arguments
c) Write letters, reports, stories and lots
of other types of text.

3. CAE: Certificate in Advanced English
o Is an International English Language Examination that shows
you can.
1.- Follow an academic course at university
level.
2.- Communicate effectively at a managerial
and profesional level.
3.- Express yourself with a high level of
fluency.

4. o Is a standardized test to
measure the English language
ability of non-native speakers
wishing to enroll in American
universities. The test is
accepted by many English-
speaking academic and
professional institutions.
