An interstellar clouds are generally an accumulation of gas, plasma and dust primarily in our galaxy. They vary in density, size and temperature. Some are the result of supernovae explosion, like the Crab nebula. Others are simply a denser region of space. Some are dark, other can reflect and emit lights.
