by every single person in this world .It could be any
kind of education like arts, engineering , doctor ,and
the religious education which is very important.

• The education system in Pakistan is generally divided into six level .
• PRIMARY(Grade 1 through 5)
• Middle(Grades 6 through 8)
• Secondary(Grade 9 and 8)
• HIGHER SECONDARY(Grade 11 and 12)
• UNIVERSITY PROGRAMS

5. Current Literacy Rate in Pakistan 2019
As of January 2019, Pakistan raise literacy rate from 58% to 70% in
four years by providing schools to the approximately 22.8 million
students .
• Primary: 22,650,000
• Post-Secondary: 1,949,000
• Secondary: 2,884,400

6. Problems in the Education
• The biggest and the actual problem in education of Pakistan is they only read
books to pass exams.
• The practical work is not given or taught by teachers.
• Most of the students, they have no idea at the primary level that what field
he/she should choose to specialize in. It is very unfortunate that there is no
counseling provided in Pakistani schools and even colleges.

7. Suggestions for Improving Education System in Pakistan.
• Free Education: As stated in article 25-A, every citizen of Pakistan should be
given free education.
• Scholarships: Govt. should provide scholarships for higher education.
• Practical Education: There should be an educational emergency to prioritize
Practical studies over theory. Practical tasks should be made mandatory from
the school level.
• Remove cramming System: Govt. should come up with a new system to
remove cramming system.
