Close proximity to malls continues to benefit Class
A product

• Class A properties within a mile of a major mall are outperforming their competition in three out of four of the
major suburban submarkets, with the exception of Woodfield Mall in the Northwest.
• The area around Woodfield Mall only appears to be struggling, as it continues to combat Zurich vacating their
former two tower campus (880,000 square feet) near the mall.
• Great activity and recent lease signings for nearly half of the Schaumburg Towers lead us to believe that the
occupancy around Woodfield Mall will soon mirror the strength of its peers.
