COO when Club Members purchased and transitioned this unique Community, managing under the
ClubCorp banner. As GM and President, I was responsible for redefining strategy and club operations for
this now member-owned community. My purview included an airstrip, deep-water marina, waste-treatment,
golf, tennis, condo and home rentals, hotel management and sitting on the Master POA. I lead the businesses
through an evolutionary period for the Club, its Membership and the entire Community. In July 1994, the
newly-appointed Board of Directors elected to terminate the ClubCorp management agreement with and my
loyalties had to remain with ClubCorp.
