2. How to register a project
Project registration in eTwinning is a very easy procedure which can be completed in only four steps. The
whole project registration is a step by step guided procedure, very easy even for new eTwinners.

Once in the eTwinning
Live, click on the
“PROJECTS” tab on the
main menu

In the new opened
window, click on the
“CREATE A NEW
PROJECT” button
3. Step
3 On the new page, you
have to choose the
school with which you’ll
work on the project. Your
default school is already
chosen. Click on the
“NEXT STEP” button to
move forward (tip: if you
work on more than one
school choose carefully,
this choice is not easy to
change later, to do so,
you must communicate
with your NSS)

On the next page, you
must select a co-founder
for the project. You can
select by searching with
the help of the scrollbar
or by writing the
eTwinning name of the
teacher. (Important, the
teacher should be
already in your contacts)
Once you start to type
the name in the search
field, the system will start
to propose names from
your contacts which in
relation on what is typed
in that field. When you
find your partner, click on
the “NEXT STEP” button
to procced. (If you can
find the person that
you’re looking for he’s
probably not
4. Step
5 On the next step, you
have to describe your
project (note: all of the
fields are required and
have characters limit)
You have to state if
whether your project is
an eTwinning plus project
or not. To write the title
of your project and a
short description (all of
the above can be
changed later even if
your project is already
approved by both NSS)
You have to check the
working language (or
language) of the project
Your pupils age and the
relative to curriculum
subjects (you can check
as many subjects as you
like)
5. Tools to be used and to
describe the aims of the
project
The schedule of the
project and the expected
results of the project. (be
very careful and specific
on both of that, those two
are the main reasons for
a project non-approval)
And on the end, you have
to state if your project is
based on a project kit.
Once you finish click on
the “PREVIEW” button to
move to the last step of
the procedure.
6. Step

Here is a preview of your
choices. You will see a
message relative to
whether your project is a
National eTwinning
project of not. If you’re
not satisfied with your
choices as you watch
them click on the
“CHANGE” button to
correct your application
otherwise click on
“SUBMIT” button to
finalize your project
registration.
What will happen next is that your co-founder will receive a notice for a project participation and
have to accept or decline it. Once he accept it , the application has to be approved from both NSS in order
to be given the Twinspace and you be able to start develop your project!
