AUTOMATED ELECTRIC BICYCLE
WITH DIGITAL SYSTEM
INTRODUCTION
 An electric bicycle, also known as an e-bike or booster
bike , it is a modification of conventional bicycle
which uses electric motor to replace the pedalling
system.
 It reduces the human effort along with increasing
efficiency.
 It reduce the use of motor bike which reduces the
pollution as it is eco-friendly vehicle.
 It is available in affordable cost.
COMPONENTS
Batteries(12V)
Motor(12v)
Solar panel
Controller
Indicators for speed and battery
GSM theft controller
GEL SMF Battery
GEL batteries are totally sealed units
supplied ready activated
It is easy to use, safer and requires no
topping up, eliminates spills and leakages,
even if the battery casing is cracked or
broken.
BLDC MOTOR
 Brushless dc motor or BLDC motor is known for
its smooth operations.
 The motor differs from other motors because it has
an electronic commutator inside it.
 It is driven with help of a controller to provide
triggering pulse to power electronic switches in a
sequence which intern magnetizes the stator coil,
the rotor being a permanent magnet rotates based
on the sequence of triggering pulse.
 The out runner or hub motor is used in this
Electric bike.
SOLAR PANEL
These are used for the purpose
of charging the battery in this
proposed system
CONTROLLER
 Electronic module
 Between battery and motor
 Regulates motor speed
 Prevents excessive currents and overheating

 With the rising prices of fuel and increases in
the concern of global warming and the
environment, electric Bike are becoming in
demand.
 Lower maintenance, which equals lower
maintenance costs!

DISADANTAGES
 Recommended for short trips.
 Battery life span is less compered to fuel bikes.
 Low speed.
