This document provides an agenda for a two-day visioning workshop. The workshop goals are to reimagine the company's purpose and vision and energize stakeholders to develop innovative initiatives. Day one will include sharing foundational information about the company, discussing what business it is really in based on participant homework, and identifying key challenges. Day two will focus on imagining a new purpose through exercises, defining important touchpoints, developing vision ideas, and bringing the new vision to life through activities and principles. The workshop aims to have key stakeholders collaboratively develop an inspiring future vision and plans to achieve it.
2. Visioning Workshop Planning Document
1) Workshop Goal Statement !
Our Workshop goal is to reimagine a Purposeful Vision for the Company/
Business Unit and to energise stakeholders to develop Innovative initiatives to
start delivering to that vision.
2) Workshop Attendees & Logistics!
All key stakeholders of COMPANY/ BUSINESS UNIT .
For a 2 day workshop up to 30 people. For a 1 day workshop, less than 15
people.
3) Participant Homework!
The role of “homework” is for all workshop participants to start thinking
expansively about the COMPANY/ BUSINESS UNIT .
All must complete and bring to the workshop on day one. It is not necessary to
prepare powerpoint presentations!
Proposed Participant Homework:
a) What business are we really in?
If Disney is in the business of “making dreams come true”, and Body Shop
“celebrates beauty with a conscience” then what business do you believe
we are really in (be future leaning)?
b) What is the COMPANY/ BUSINESS UNIT ’s best kept secret? !
This is a strength not widely known outside the company. Bring an object
to share with the group that you believe is reflective of this best kept
secret.
C) Company / Brand Inspiration!
Bring to the workshop a reference of an
example of a company or brand that you think we can learn from.
