Some of the top trends included matte finishes, geometric and textured patterns, warmer color palettes with greys and browns, wider and longer plank sizes, beveled edges, french bleeds, and refined rustic textures. Multi-width designs, unfinished bevels, and chiseled edge treatments were also prominent. New introductions of groutable luxury vinyl tiles from Armstrong, Tarkett, and Mannington were highlighted.

32. The Color Experts Speak on 2016:
32
Experts agree that the 2016
palette will have one overriding
influence: WARMTH! Inspired
by the returning browns and the
continuing rise of gold metallic,
much of the palette will add
hints of yellow or an overlay of
red. Even cool colors like blues,
will look warmer than they have
in years. The Benjamin Moore
Color of the Year Guilford
Green is even warmed up with
hints of warm yellow.
