Hinweis der Redaktion
Poets, leading Latvian creative personalities un public figures of their time.
A worthwhile topic for a pilot project
a collection where links [between objects] and the diversity of content play an important role
> ~500 objects
Main page about Aspazija
An example object page (a photo in this case) -> thumbnail, metadata (URI, links to DOM), RDF buttons
Poets’ correspondence spanned 35 years, covering essential stages of Latvian history and culture development. It has been included in the Latvian national register of the UNESCO “Memory of the World” programme.
Meticulously transcribed and annotated
The rich interlinked structure of the collection. It is links between the objects that make it different and interesting to explore.
Entities: works (poems, periodicals, …), people, organizations, events, …
NLL's authority data not sufficient:
- lack of Work/Expression authority data
- abstract entities/subjects
