9. SEO Tools and
what they do
What does it cost?
With packages starting from as little
as 9.90 euro per month, this is one of
the most affordable tools on the
market.
However, don’t let the price fool
you – this is probably one of the
tools you can’t afford to be without.
www.oncrawl.com
10. SEO Tools and
what they do
What is it
Considered the one key tool that SEO’s
can’t do without.
Screaming Frog is a stand-alone crawling
tool that works on both Mac and PC.
However, it is not without its limitations
You are limited to the number of pages you
can crawl – this is based on the amount
of memory you have in your computer.
You aren’t likely to run into issues until you are hitting 500,000+
pages.
11. SEO Tools and
what they do
Main areas you can see
• Internal Pages
• External Links
• Page Protocols
• Response Codes
• URI
• Page Titles
• Meta Descriptions
• Meta Keywords
• H1 & H2’s
• Images
• Directives
• Hreflang
• Ajax

15. SEO Tools and
what they do
What is it?
As the site suggests, an all-in-one
Marketing toolkit – probably the most
widely known and with a claimed
1 million users, probably the biggest.
What does it do?
It has 4 main areas:
• SEO
• Paid Traffic (PPC)
• Social Media
• Content & PR
20. SEO Tools and
what they do
What does it cost?
There are 3 levels of monthly subscription.
Most find that they will get what they need
from either the Pro or Guru accounts.
There is always the Business account or a
custom option if you do need more.
www.semrush.com
21. SEO Tools and
what they do
What is it?
Sitebulb is one of the newest crawling tools to
the market – and has some very exciting
features.
What does it do?
(from the website)
Sitebulb is a desktop website crawler that
delivers instantly actionable insights and intuitive data
visualizations. Available
for both Mac and PC.
(This is from the guys that created URL Profiler)
22. SEO Tools and
what they do
What does it do?
Site speed analysis for every page on
your website.
Conduct a complete performance audit
on every single URL on your site, for both
page speed and mobile rendering.
23. SEO Tools and
what they do
What does it do?
Ensure that search engines get the right
indexation signals
Gain clarity on exactly which URLs are
indexable and which are not, so you can
make sure that only the right pages end up
in the index.
24. SEO Tools and
what they do
What does it do?
All the data you need for a content audit
Sitebulb’s rigorous content analysis can help
you make better, more well-informed
decisions when auditing website content.
25. SEO Tools and
what they do
What does it do?
Creates amazingly good visual crawl
maps
This is what I really like about the tool.
These crawl maps help you visualise a
Site and see where there are problem
areas.
You can easily see where rogue links
have lead to pages becoming lost
and probably not being crawled.
26. SEO Tools and
what they do
What does it cost?
There are 2 levels of licence…
Free – max 500 crawl limit
Paid - £25+VAT per month
Based on what this tool does, it is
incredibly good value for money!
27. SEO Tools and
what they do
What is it?
Deepcrawl is an online website crawling
tool, similar to SEMrush and OnCrawl.
What does it do?
Deepcrawl is one of a number of tools that
Most SEO’s can’t do without.
They have recently launched some
very nice features and updated the site
to offer a much cleaner view of
each area.
28. SEO Tools and
what they do
What does it do?
This is more like OnCrawl than it is SEMrush as it is
just an auditing tool, whereas SEMrush offers
many other features outside of what you see
here.
Of note, the SEO Audit is probably the main
reason people will use Deepcrawl – unless you
have specific areas you want to cover.
29. SEO Tools and
what they do
What does it do?
One of the main reasons I like Deepcrawl is
the menu structure that they have gone with.
This makes it very easy to navigate and find
the reports that you require.
30. SEO Tools and
what they do
What does it cost?
Ranging from £55 per month up to
£749, Deepcrawl has one of the more
expensive price ranges, but is it worth it?
Yes…!
There is also a bespoke option for those
that need extra.
www.deepcrawl.com
31. SEO Tools and
what they do
What do they do?
Both Ahrefs and Majestic offer backlink
analysis that is probably the best in
the market.
Ahrefs have taken a slightly different
approach recently and as part of
your subscription, you also get SERP
tracking.
However, track your SEPRs using something like Accuranker.
32. SEO Tools and
what they do
What do they do?
Ahrefs Content Explorer
This is a really nice value-add from Ahrefs
and is one of the reasons I have a sub.
Quickly and easily find content on any
Topic. You will see:
• Number of social shares
• Domain Rating
• Number of referring domains
• Organic Traffic
• Who Tweeted it
• Drill down into more details such as who linked to it
33. SEO Tools and
what they do
What do they cost?
Both offer a range of packages to meet
most budgets.
Majestic looks like it has more options, but
I would recommend checking both out
as they are equally good and it depends
what you need from it.
ahrefs.com & majestic.com
34. SEO Tools and
what they do
What is it?
An SEO tool that offer some amazingly good
insights to how clients work, but that has some
extra tricks up its sleeves.
What it does
• Tracks Keywords
• Manages Link Acquisition & Contacts
• PPC Competitor Research
• SEO Competitor Research
• Keyword Research
35. SEO Tools and
what they do
What it does
SEO Overview
This is where all the good stuff starts to
happen.
Enter a URL, and from there, start to analyse
competitors, shared keywords, top keywords,
inbound links, ranking history and much
more.
Get a complete view of the landscape
before beginning work.
36. SEO Tools and
what they do
What it does
Keyword Research
One of the most comprehensive reports that will not only
show you things like monthly searches and ranking
difficulty, but so much more:
• Most profitable related keywords
• Most successful advertisers and their best ads
• Ranking History
• Inbound backlinks
• Organic Search Ranking Analysis
• Current Ads in use on Google
37. SEO Tools and
what they do
What it does
Backlinks and Outreach
This is where the tool really does shine…
Not only does this tool allow you to gather backlinks
for related keywords, but allows you to organise
your chances of actually getting a link by looking at
the number of outbound links on a page.
Very impressive!
But we’re not done yet…
38. SEO Tools and
what they do
What it does
Backlinks and Outreach
In here is a backlink and outreach tracking
tool that has a nifty little trick…
When it researches a site you are looking at,
it will also give you a list of contacts that it
finds from that site.
You can then track and manage your contact
and set reminders if you need to follow up.
This is extremely useful!
39. SEO Tools and
what they do
What does it cost?
From $33 to $299 per month.
There is a package for everyone…
The Pro account will suit most
individuals with extra logins and
allowances available through the
Team package.

40. SEO Tools and
what they do
And Finally…
If you want to see where a particular phrase is ranking, but
remove or change the location, then this is the best way to do it…
Google’s Adwords Preview Tool…
No need to login and will give you an exact representation of the
SERPs.
