2. Secure Sign On
Identity control and protection and mobile device management across the various platforms and
BYOD devices has become a business essential. AVG Business SSO delivers one-click access to
applications and data which improves employee efficiency, reduces support costs and increases the
security of devices, data and people.
Managed Workplace 9.1 is now SAML compliant. SAML (Security Assertion Markup Language) is an
open standard for exchanging authentication and authorization data between parties. Now, this
information is passed through tokens so your username and password never travel across
networks. Tight integration with Active Directory means that adding or removing users is quick and
effective.
Lower the likelihood of lost and stolen passwords, lower support costs, increase productivity and

3. BDR - Backup and Disaster Recovery
This is the industry’s most complete Data Protection Platform. From an easy-to-
use dashboard, MSPs can efficiently manage their cloud backup, disaster recovery
and data archiving solutions. The flexible platform protects data in multiple
environments: our cloud, a private cloud or a third-party cloud. Deployable across
physical or virtual servers, workstations or mobile devices, this is the only solution MSPs need to deliver
complete data protection to businesses of all sizes.
Flexible hosting options to meet your clients’ evolving needs. Every customer is different. While one
customer will want to store their data on premise, another may want to store it in their own cloud or third-
party cloud. Our solution lets you choose your cloud, enabling you to create the right solution based on the
customer’s needs, not your vendor’s limitations.
We offer endpoint support across all popular Server OS, workstation OS, mobile devices and popular
applications.
Improved Remote Control Integration
Remote Control Integration must make it as easy as possible to integrate the tools you use. Our integration
for ScreenConnect, LogMeIn Pro and Teamviewer has been improved and enhanced so that configuration
and deployment is simpler, faster so that you can be productive.
For those partners using UltraVNC you can now automatically deploy the UltraVNC agent across devices at a
site, mass configuration via a global setting (with device level overrides) and the option to erase the agent
footprint once the remote session finishes.
Alerting Enhancements
Creating alert rules that map to time periods lowers the alert traffic, draws attention to the important alerts
and keeps high value alert information on your dashboard. This makes your work simpler and more efficient.
For example, a single mis-typed password in a five minute period of time is unlikely to be of concern and
should not generate an alert. However, several mis-typed passwords in a five-minute period could be cause
for concern and the system can be configured to trigger an alert based on the activity and time-frame.
When an alert is raised, Managed Workplace provides a link to address the issue. An alert for a Windows
event will have a link to one of a number of options: to the Windows event page for that device; to ‘Run
Automation’ for that device; or a link to the device’s remote control or remote tools UI.

4. PSA Ticket Synchronization
Managed Workplace supports 2-way ticket synchronization with your preferred PSA. You choose the best
synchronization options for your workflow. You can synchronize based on device, by site, by website or by
Policy set.
NOC & Help Desk
Our new NOC offers deeper and broader service. Now you can extend your workforce without adding
headcount to provide additonal services, and free up your own technicians to tackle more profitable
activities.
Approximately 80% of the effort in a client issue is spent on troubleshooting and root cause analysis - let
the NOC team do that work for you, then, depending on NOC level engaged, escalate back to you or to the
Level 2 team to remediate.
The NOC team is ITIL®
certified, so you know they’re focused on service delivery and rapid remediation -
that’s why they offer TCO; Total Call Ownership -they’ll even coordinate with vendor support teams to see
an issue through to resolution. Extend your workforce, develop new service offerings, drive more revenue.
