Identity control and protection and mobile device management across the various platforms and
BYOD devices has become a business essential. AVG Business SSO delivers one-click access to
applications and data which improves employee efficiency, reduces support costs and increases the
security of devices, data and people.
Managed Workplace 9.1 is now SAML compliant. SAML (Security Assertion Markup Language) is an
open standard for exchanging authentication and authorization data between parties. Now, this
information is passed through tokens so your username and password never travel across
networks. Tight integration with Active Directory means that adding or removing users is quick and
effective.

Improved Remote Control Integration
Remote Control Integration must make it as easy as possible to integrate the tools you use. Our integration
for ScreenConnect, LogMeIn Pro and Teamviewer has been improved and enhanced so that configuration
and deployment is simpler, faster so that you can be productive.
For those partners using UltraVNC you can now automatically deploy the UltraVNC agent across devices at a
site, mass configuration via a global setting (with device level overrides) and the option to erase the agent
footprint once the remote session finishes.
Alerting Enhancements
Creating alert rules that map to time periods lowers the alert traffic, draws attention to the important alerts
and keeps high value alert information on your dashboard. This makes your work simpler and more efficient.
For example, a single mis-typed password in a five minute period of time is unlikely to be of concern and
should not generate an alert. However, several mis-typed passwords in a five-minute period could be cause
for concern and the system can be configured to trigger an alert based on the activity and time-frame.
When an alert is raised, Managed Workplace provides a link to address the issue. An alert for a Windows
event will have a link to one of a number of options: to the Windows event page for that device; to ‘Run
Automation’ for that device; or a link to the device’s remote control or remote tools UI.
