Medieval Periods)
Construction has gone through massive changes over the years. In
the beginning things were very basic. During the stone age tools were
made from natural materials such as bone, stone and wood. After this
the copper and bronze age eras began. This brought an advancement
in technology. Tools became more advanced with the introduction of
axes, chisels and saws. During the iron age tools have now become
more sharper with durable edges. Creations of the ramp, lever and
lathe were introduced into society which allowed for bigger and better
structures to be constructed. The medieval period brought
construction of castles and forts, these were very popular in Europe
by using materials such as wood and brick that are strong to
fortify the occupants.
