§ Idempotency is key
§ Unique identifier for customers
§ Real-time or not: garbage in, garbage out
§ Distributed, stateless and scalable
… but beware of the order in which events are consumed
§ A real-time digital banking experience is not impossible with
an old core banking system (DB Log events to the rescue)
§ No more end-of-day overnight batch mindset
