Jodee Berry used to work as a waitress in a Hooters restaurant in
Florida when she took part in a beer-sales competition in the
early 2000s. The big prize in the competition was supposed to be
a Toyota, or so did Jodee think as the word was only spoken and
never actually spelled. Jodee won the contest and was happily
expecting to see her brand new car when she was led blindfolded
to the parking lot. She was shocked when she realized that the
Toyota was actually a X and it was all part of an April Fool’s Joke
that the restaurant had played on her.
Jodee did not find it funny and she quit her job and sued Hooters
for damages. The restaurant agreed to settle for an undisclosed
sum of money but, according to rumours, it was more than
enough to buy a real Toyota.

In June 2013, documentary filmmaker Jennifer Nelson filed a
suit in the federal court of New York against Warner/Chappell

as part of a documentary she was making about the song. In
September 2015, it was ruled that the Warner/Chappell
copyright claim over the lyrics was invalid. The copyright they
held applied only to a specific piano arrangement of the song,
not the lyrics or the melody. Prior to this, Warner/Chappell had
been earning $2 million a year licensing the song for
commercial use.
In April 2016, the lawyers of the above lawsuit filed a similar
lawsuit regarding the song Y.

of Satan”. He compared it to “Maisir” which is forbidden
by the Quran.

• Jesse Hughes and Josh Homme were in a bar watching a
man dance to the song “Wind of Change” by the Scorpions.
The man yelled, "This is Y, dude!", to which Homme replied,
“No it's not. This is like the X of Y.”
• When a friend of Josh Homme played a song by the Polish
band Vader and made a claim that the song was a Y song,
Homme referred to Vader as the “X of Y”. After hearing
this, Hughes wondered what a cross between X and Y
would sound like.

The cracked dude behind the wheel immediately starts worrying
his passenger by telling he story of how his family's trip to Paris
when he was “the cutest f***ing 8-year-old in the universe” and the

nightmares about this bald weirdo dude chasing me around talking
like Yosemite Sam”, a shaking Kevin confesses between cigarette
drags.
The audience also gets to see his fragile state of mind as the
episode takes a dark, sadistic and gruesome final twist.

This 1984 video game called Blastar was sold to the
magazine PC and Office Technology for $500. The mission
of the game is to “destroy the alien freighters carrying
deadly Hydrogen bombs and status beam machines”. It is

much more basic. There is never more than two ships on
the screen, there are few sound effects and it really has no
ending.
Though it looks unimpressive, Tomas Lloret Llinares, a
software engineer at Google, took the original code and
rebuilt the game to work in HTML5.
